One of my favorite places in mid-city. BLD is delicious whether you're going for breakfast, lunch, or dinner! They have fantastic artisan cocktails, delicious bloody mary's, and food that is unbelievably flavorful and fresh. -Tempura Squash Blossoms Stuffed with mozzarella- amazing! -Butter Lettuce Salad-Buttermilk blue cheese, cherry tomatoes, fresh herbs, nueskes bacon- just the right amount of dressing on soft ...Popular withFoodiesTrendstersBusiness

Finally got to try their famous red/blue velvet "pancake"! The highlight of that dish were the candied walnuts. The pancake tasted more like a cupcake with light cream cheese cream. The system is interesting here. You wait in line, order, then you get seated by the hostess and the food is brought to you. It's a cute place and I ...Popular withFoodiesLocalVegetarian

Really small space. Cute for performances, it makes the acoustics better. The place looks a little sketchy. It's also really hard to find the entrance--you have to go around back. Also, they dont have very many chairs or tables, so you will probably end up standing the whole night.Popular withNightlifeLocalTrendsters

We met up with a friend of mine who'd moved to LA and had brunch at Dusty's on my last morning in LA. The food was excellent and they have REALLY good coffee. It's in the Silverlake/Echo Park area, so it's a nice spot to stroll around after lunch as well.Popular withFoodies
One of my favourite restaurants in LA at the moment. All the ingredients are organic and they also offer a gluten free pasta. Luca owns the joint, he's hilarious and always smiling. He's originally from Italy and has recently opened up this place. Help him out and sling him some business.
