What amazingly fresh sushi! The lunch special for $35 is solid here. The set comes with two pieces of blue fin tuna, blue crab hand roll and butterfish and several other great additions. The service is superb and there's a free lot for parking! One if my favorite lunch spots in the area!Popular withFoodiesLuxuryBusiness
I don't usually eat a lot of seafood, but when I do it's always a treat. Son of a Gun is a great seafood spot in WeHo, and their seafood dishes did not disappoint. I had shrimp toast - one of their specialties - and really enjoyed it, although it was quite buttery. The smoked mahi fish dip was one ...Popular withFoodiesTrendstersBudget

We came during a time when it wasn't Happy Hour quite (9 pm) yet so we got to order from both the regular menu and HH menu. -- Regular Menu -- Mini Lobster Roll - Really buttery but so tiny! Truffle Fries w/ Garlic Aioli - Tasty and a good filler Calamari - tastes like the chinese salt and pepper ...Popular withFoodiesNightlifeBusiness
This place is a shack, literally. Entrance is a bit discrete, and I would have no clue how to find this place had someone not literally walked me to the door. Parking sucks, since it's either valet or street. Came during Cinco De Mayo for a Saturday Happy Hour that lasts till 7. Small selection of Happy Hour food on ...Popular withBudgetTrendstersGreen

After a long day of car shopping and finally getting the suv we wanted, we were hungry. We were at the dealership and my wife, friend and I were hungry after all of us survived off a cookie and coffee for breakfast. So, the sales guy recommended this place. We were contemplating either The Federal Bar or The Boiling Crab, ...Popular withSpiritual
Sushi Masu is a small sushi place on Westwood Blvd. between Santa Monica Blvd. and Pico Blvd. You will probably miss it when you drive by. Although small, it gets quite packed on weekends. The salmon, yellowtail, and albacore are always good. If you're lucky, they will have abalone and giant clam on the day you're there. They are a ...Popular withFoodiesLuxuryBusiness

Awesome place! I came here to have dinner but I found out it was "oyster hour" aka their happy hour at the bar. What a great deal!! Their oysters of the day are 1.50 each and their beers are 1.50 too!! They had Molson beer on bottle for 1.50 so I had to get it! Their signature cocktails during this ...Popular withFoodiesLuxuryTrendsters
Started in 1921 when the Signal Hill oil gushers erupted and the Memorial Coliseum was completed, Pacific Dining Car has been in its present location since 1923. I don't know any other Los Angeles place that offers quality, luxury dining 24 hours each day. They offer a quality menu but the specialty is steak.Popular withHistoryBusinessLuxury

Located inside the Mitsuwa store you can find this great bento box place that's very reasonably priced. The tempura is a little over battered, but it is made fresh. I like the teriyaki because the sauce isn't overly sweet, but more soy sauce based. The bento comes with miso soup, pickled veggies, rice, and a tofu, all for under $8.
The food here is really tasty and the seafood tastes super fresh. Though, I wouldn't come here too often because the dishes are pretty pricey. The lobster tail alone was $40, but so yummy. I would only come here if I was really craving for fresh seafood but other than that, it was a great experience. Oh and watch out ...
