Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA)

    95 reviews

Chris Urban's iconic entrance to the Los Angeles Country Museum of Art has become such an icon in its own right, that attendance to just the 202 lamppost installation far supersedes that of the museum itself. You'll recognize these white towering posts from, ohhhhh, music videos, movies, commercials, television shows, and the Instagram feeds of every single one of your ...

    Hollywood Sign

    99 reviews

As someone who just moved to the LA area, I figured visiting the Hollywood sign would be one of those overrated cliché landmarks to visit. However, I thoroughly enjoyed the hike up to the sign, the views are incredible, especially on a clear day, the smog can really be hit or miss but regardless, still worth a shot.

Home of the Lakers!! Oh and also of the Clippers, Kings and Sparks. I've been here on a few occasion and each time I've had a blast. Parking, well unless you have Staples Center parking, you're on your own to find a spot. But there are a lot of places to park around Staples Center. It just depends much you ...

    Abbot Kinney Blvd

    48 reviews

When you come to Venice Beach, there is the boardwalk - touristy, crowded, filled with shops slinging junk. And then there is Abbot Kinney - a few blocks filled with high end clothing boutiques, hipster bars and high end restaurants catering to a bit more upscale crowd. Its not on the beach, and the people watching is not quite as ...

    Farmers Market

    50 reviews

I adore the farmers market! I can take or leave the Grove, but the farmer's market is one-of-a-kind and I hope it never gets demolished, because there is plenty of new construction in LA, but it's the historical places like the Farmer's Market that make the city great.

    Greek Theatre

    30 reviews

Awesome amphitheatre in LA. Love the beautiful backdrop of the hillside and while nothing beats seats in the front rows, you can still get a great view from the very last row. Since it's situated in an upscale residential area, they have strict curfews for the concerts, so they don't run super late. Parking was surprisingly easy, and getting out ...
