Not you typical Dim Sum, that's for sure. Kinda mix with bar and dim sum. This is good to hangout after or before dinner for smaller meat. Not idea to come here hungry, i love the artwork and the atmosphere is relax and cool.

    Seven Grand

515 West 7th Street, Los Angeles, CA
    22 reviews

Drinks: Old Fashioned, Whiskey Sour, Vanilla Cream Punch, Jameson no rocks lime. As a Downtown local, I frequent most of the DT bars. Golden Gopher is my go-to spot, but I know that when I feel like something more exciting, I head over to Seven Grand. On a Monday night, there was a live jazz band, which amped things up ...

    Little Tokyo

East Temple Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012
    35 reviews

Ok I have been hanging out in Little Tokyo a lot. However Everyone calls it Japan Town or just J-Town. Regardless, This is a gentrified area that is popping most of the time. I end up over here for a lot of fun, some great nightlife, and some great dining options. Literally it’s a very fun area to cruise around ...

    Exchange LA

There's so much I can say about Exchange because I've been there so many times! Well, only on Awakening Fridays... Insomniac brings in the best djs! The only things I dislike is that I have poor reception inside (t-mobile) and the lines can be long. There is valet parking, a parking structure nearby, and you can find parking on some ...

Nice little hidden spot in dtla away from the tall buildings. It's close to little Tokyo and offers a lot of drinks and snacks. The owner seems to like making things out of wood and created lots of wood type structures like a huge scale connect 4 with wooden pieces. Def a place to drop in and eat and drink ...

Bikeable, walkable and lots of outdoor areas to hang and enjoy the sun + friends. A big major plus is all the lush trees that adorn this campus. ==-Happy Hour! Greatest thing ever about this place. It went until 7pm on the Monday that I went. Parking on the street is free after 6pm, but there's always a valet in front. Most of the beers and well drinks went for $4. They were generous on the alcohol content as well. Plus plus. I was glad to choose to ...

I really liked this place, but my experience was definitely not the friday/saturday night experience with the crowded bar, no parking, lines, dress code, bad service etc etc that everyone writes about... and here's why: 1. I went on a Sunday night 2. I found street parking right outside 3. There was no crowd at all. I was in the ...
