    Hollyridge Trail

Beachwood Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90068
    2 reviews

Five stars simply because this is the most accessible way to view the destination that's on the top of so many tourist's lists: the Hollywood sign. Since I often hike in Bronson Canyon and regularly walk the Franklin Hills neighborhood, tourists continually ask me how to easily view the sign. This is where I send them. Many people visiting the ...

    Exposition Park Rose Garden

701 State Dr, Los Angeles, California, United States
    8 reviews

I love this place and always have... The munchkin loves it too. I think many others find this place an unabashed sea of delight in an otherwise barren concrete wasteland. Pro Tip: This is free to cruise through =) However be very careful you do not visit here with friends of not the highest demeanor. One ill (perfectly) timed shove ...

Wow, such a nice quiet place to study. I came here on a Sunday afternoon and it was so peaceful. I would so come here often if it was closer to my house just to study or read or relax. My gf and I got the earl grey tea and yerba mate. The teas were pretty strong! I'm glad that ...

    Cha Cha Lounge

2375 Glendale Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA, United States
    6 reviews

Maybe my favorite bar in all of LA. The atmosphere is never pretentious, parking usually isn't bad, no cover, and I almost always spot an obscure famous person. *ahem* Aziz Ansari

    Bike Curious Rentals

34 Windward Avenue, Los Angeles, CA
    1 review

This place is at Venice Beach. We rented cruisers to ride along the beach and down to Santa Monica Pier. It was $15 for 3 hours and included a basket for each of our bikes. The lady running the shop was very friendly and helpful and the bikes were in great condition.

    Hollywood Sign

6342 Mulholland Highway, Los Angeles, CA 90068-1648
    98 reviews

So I have done a quick look at all of the Hollywood Sign hiking trails and it looks like most of you did the Hollyridge Trail... Consequently I think you just like the odor of the horsies... However I made the trek a different way, which was longer, only partially on the super wide paved service roads and sometimes charging ...

Wilshire and Western, Los Angeles, CA 90010
    7 reviews

Is it bad that I am drooling just thinking about K-Town? I seriously could sit down to about one serving of bulgogi and forget everything else! There are a ton of great restaurants here. There really are. There are also some pretty shoddy restaurants here too. Beware of the roads as they need to be repaired with a passion. At ...

Ok so this is not the British Museum of Natural History, its not the Smithsonian, Its not the Chicago Museum of Natural History either... Well I have been to all of those joints and this is nothing like them, However they had some very fun exhibits and my daughter enjoyed it for the most part. Consequently, I now know that ...

    Feel Karaoke

600 South Harvard Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA, United States

My GUY friends love this place, I put guy in uppercase because they don't have to spend as much! You pretty much pay $20 per person and you can bring all the drinks you want and just pay for the chasers. Smart idea because this way the bill doesn't run up to 1k without even realizing it, and the guys ...

    Abbot Kinney Blvd

Abbot Kinney Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90291
    45 reviews

A few minutes from the Venice Canals, this is a hip street with unique stores and restaurants. Only a few minutes from Venice Beach. We love the upscale, creative and delicious "salads" from Lemonade at the corner of Abbot Kinney and Venice Blvd. They also make amazingly delicious stews….

    California African American Museum

600 State Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90037
    2 reviews

This is the one museum within the Exposition Park museum complex worth making a special trip to visit. The other museums have good collections (Natural History Museum) and interesting displays (California Science Center) but for me at least, they fail to generate the same degree of interest as the California African American Museum. This museum has an eclectic mix of ...

    Farmers Market

6333 West 3rd Street #175g, Los Angeles, CA, United States
    50 reviews

A nice open market with tons of food stalls, fresh produce, and crafts and trinkets. It's often busy, though, and the food tent can be smelly and dirty - which is a little worrisome. But it's a nice place to check out at least once.

Pros: Great ambience, super busy Saturday night. Overall I had a lot of fun. The drinks were unique and amazing.
