Not you typical Dim Sum, that's for sure. Kinda mix with bar and dim sum. This is good to hangout after or before dinner for smaller meat. Not idea to come here hungry, i love the artwork and the atmosphere is relax and cool.

    Ray's & Stark Bar

Super cool place to lounge, especially on a warm summer night as there's a beautiful contemporary outdoor patio. Cocktails are just as yummy as the food. Spend a few hours checking out the exhibits at LACMA and then end up here - it's a fun way to enjoy the art scene on Museum Row.

Why anyone would name a theater something that sounds like a seedy underage club is beyond me. Nevertheless, this theater is pretty nice! Big plus for having IMAX screens.

If you feel nostalgic for a Portland hangout, this is the place to go. 5-9pm, the most banging Happy Hour in all of LA (or at least in Silverlake) - $3 wells and $2 Pabsts just like in the Northwest. Of course, that familiarity comes from having a sister bar in Seattle. A mish-mash decor of Tiki transitioning into Mexican ...

    Verdugo Bar

Verdugo bar is a great hipster-ish type bar. I have been there in the past during the day when a food truck I wanted to try was there. However, recently I came by with some friends on a Friday night. It's a great place to grab some beers (they have some great options on tap) or cocktails. Drinks are decently ...

Silverlake Wine is such a great store. The staff are excited about what they sell, and knowledgeable. Great prices for great wines, and their frequent wine tastings are well worth attending on a regular basis. Heirloom LA's food truck attends those as well, so you get easy access to dinner, too.

This is a speakeasy style bar a few (long) blocks off of hollywood on highland. It's not very big but it does come off as spacious because of the layout. The service is pretty good and it's actually a great spot to go in groups but not so much in small groups due to the manner of it's setup. Bar ...

The Bona Vista Lounge is the rotating restaurant on the 34th floor of the Westin Bonaventure, although you enter through the 35th floor. The restaurant at the top does not revolve. There's a light food menu, limited bar, and a limit dessert menu compared to the full restaurant upstairs.

The shows that are performed there tend to be low production value as there is no back stage and very little lighting. The house is not quite a bringer house (the performers have to bring in the customers) but if they don't fill it the performers have cover the cost. The food is ok, but it doesn't have to because ...

Hyde Lounge is the swanky VIP club located inside the Staples Center. I had no idea a place like this even existed inside the arena, but it was definitely a fun and different way to experience a basketball game. Getting up to the lounge was a bit of an ordeal, as we had to go through two velvet roped entrances, ...
