I attended a meeting/presentation here and thought the property was quite nice. The meeting room opened up to the outdoors and made for a very airy feel. Clean and comfortable; made for an enjoyable experience. If the accommodations are similar, then it should be a great hotel.

Beautiful hotel in the midst of Diamond Head area. Its on the most Eastern side of Waikiki, but its quiet enough that you don't quite feel the constant hustle and bustle of the urban life. Plenty of parking, towards the evening, along the streets. Streets are lit so you walk comfortably.

Had the pleasure of attending an awesome Gogobot event - their catering space was great and the coordinator so friendly and mingled with the guests. Great space. The bar area had live music, stocked with a decent variety, and space was fun to lounge in - my only gripe was that the music was too loud to have a comfortable conversation, I was almost yelling at my friend!

Not sure about the prices for staying the night, but I would hazard a standard price for Waikiki rates.

The Lotus is one of Waikiki’s few hip boutique hotels and one of my favorites, with a distinctive “away from the crowd” location. Previously a W Hotel, it still features much of the same Indonesian-Zen décor, yet at much more reasonable prices. Rooms are large, creamy and contemporary, all facing east and with partial ocean views on higher floors. No pool or restaurant (although the restaurant may eventually reopen), but plenty of cool free extras like beach-cruiser bikes, yoga in the park and cocktail-hour wine service.

The hotel is near Diamond Head, between a giant recreational park and a snippet of stylish beachfront. Central Waikiki’s a wonderful 15-minute walk that winds near the beachfront, but at night consider taking a taxi for safety—the park is poorly lit and attracts drifters. Two fine-dining restaurants are just next door to the hotel, as well as a sundry store for ice cream and newspapers.

Lobby is very beautiful, candle lit walls, and comfy sofa chairs, gives a very zen ambiance. Rooms are spacious, clean, and modern. Definitely a nice hotel for relaxation and unwinding from the busy streets of Waikiki.

Far away at the south end of Waikiki Beach, this Aqua budget-boutique hotel feels as comfortable as your Oahu-born friend's apartment building. The lobby is more like an oversized living room, and the hotel rooms are minimalist, clean-lined and peaceful. Not all have views of much more than the parking lot, and there's no swimming pool. It's also about a 15-minute walk from the Waikiki scene. But it's worth exploring as an option if you're looking for a place to chill with your lover and hide away for the weekend.

This stylish hotel is located across from Kapiolani Park, with an amazing, Indonesian-influenced design that is quiet and relaxing. Beautiful lobby with stunning art and décor. The large, seventh floor partial ocean view room was warmly updated with a spacious bathroom that had lots of storage. The big lanai overlooked the ocean, Diamond Head and the park, but also the parking lot. The cable television was older but they offer complimentary WiFi and internet access in all rooms. No onsite restaurant, but one is being planned. And no pool, but you’re right on the beach. Great guest perks include a daily wine mixer from 4 to 6 p.m., yoga classes in the park and bicycle usage. The heart of Waikiki is about a 15 minute walk away without a car. So keep this in mind if walking the area later at night. Lighting is poor along the park.

We stay here EVERY time we go to Honolulu, which is every year pretty much. A lovely hotel away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki but still walking distance. Lovely rooms and staff but no major facilities - e.g. no gym, room service or a pool. But you don't need it - the beach is right out the front! A restaurant in the hotel would be nice... it's more like staying in an apartment - in the sense that you don't get much outside of the room.... but we still LOVE it and keep going back!
