Lustre Pearl-the shining star of the hip Rainey Street neighborhood- is one of the best places to soak up the casual, easy going atmosphere of Austin, whether it's an early afternoon happy hour or a late night romp. Lustre is dog friendly, has ample patio space, stout drinks and delicious food. Darts inside, ping pong tables outside. Oh, and hula hoops. What more could you really ask for in an Austin bar?Recommended for:

Lustre Pearl is a gem of a bar on the hipster Rainey Street. Going for that shack chic look, each room inside has a ton of character with exposed wood and vintage fixtures. Get their speciality strawberry infused moonshine, bring it outside (or chill in the AC rooms inside if it's sweltering out), grab a hula hoop or ping pong paddle for some extra fun. There's also a taco truck parked out back if you're hungry for some small bites.Recommended for:

This is a definite win when it comes to outdoor bars. Great music, two ping pong tables, hoola-hoops, indoor and outdoor bars, awesome mexican food trailer in the back. Rainey Street, where this bar is located, is really turning into a hotspot for nightlife.

Some of the best nights are really spent hanging out at the house with your friends, but then again, nothing beats the excitement of getting dressed up and heading out on the town. Don’t worry your pretty little head deciding between the two – this bar is like a win-win. It’s a house, but just not yours, and with way more people. So head out, grab a drink, and relax on the back porch. Then when you have just enough of a buzz – it’s hula hoop time (yep, we said hula hoop – you know you love it)!

Lustre Pearl is that perfect backyard bar that just feels SO AUSTIN. They have long picnic tables for you to just hang out with friends in a casual environment. Ping pong tables and hula hoops are scattered about for your entertainment. And when you get hungry, go grab something from the taco truck parked on the property. Street parking is getting more rare on Rainey St. though; they keep adding more bars and restaurants in the area.
