Beautiful hotel. So contemporary and nice inside. The rooms are big and they have a very large banquet area for weddings. This is a great contemporary hotel next to the 405 in Brentwood area. It's close to the Getty Center and good for parents who want a nice place to visit their kids at UCLA.Recommended for:Family Travelers

Luxe Hotel is a great, modern hotel in a pretty convenient location. The hotel has a minimalist and clean aesthetic of whites, soft grays and beiges. I stayed here for my wedding, along with other guests, and the stay was overall pleasant for everyone. The standard rooms are pretty spacious, and the suites are extremely spacious and comfortable. The suite I stayed in connected to our neighboring standard room which was perfect for the chaos the morning of my wedding with me, 6 bridesmaids, 2 makeup artists, 1 hairdresser, 2 photographers, and my wedding planner running in and out all morning! The pool area is also spacious, but it is a bit of a hike depending on the location of your room. Luxe is close to Santa Monica, Sherman Oaks, and West LA. Since it is near the 405, that means getting to places even farther in town, such as Downtown LA is also easy. It is also right next door to The Angeleno which is another convenient thing if you're traveling with many others and looking for a central place to stay with more than one hotel option for the pack.Recommended for:Luxury Travelers

I'm often at the Luxe for business meetings and I love it! The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant, lounge, and outside seating are beautiful.
Food at the restaurant is delicious. I've now enjoyed several meals there and everything I've had has been great.
The location is kind of a drag and a pain to get from where I am, but this is great for someone coming into LA from out of town. As long as it isn't rush out, the hotel is a straight shot up the 405 freeway. Close to Westwood/UCLA, Beverly Hills, and the west side.Recommended for:Business Travelers

Our stay here was totally serendipitous, precipitated by finding bedbugs in the place we were originally going to stay. The change of lodging changed the entire tenor of our week-long LA trip. Luxe is the word! Felt totally pampered from the valets on up. The front desk quickly reimbursed me for a toiletry item disposed by an overzealous housekeeping staffer. Breakfast in the lovely patio, dinner in the restaurant (with a couple of B-list sightings), room service at night. A great base of operations for Getty, beach communities, Westwood and WeHo...even some cute eateries and shops in Brentwood. Live it up!

Imagine a hotel situated on a subway hub with direct, express lines to JFK, SoHo, Central Park, the Lower East Side and even the Theatre District. It sounds fabulous logistically, but also nightmarish in ambiance. Imagine then, instead, if you could have a blissful bubble of an oasis that can hook you up to the city in any direction on any whim, but holds you above all the chaos in a blithe luxurious serenity, complete with poolside cabanas. Impossible, you scoff? Well, perhaps in New York. You can find it in Los Angeles, however, and it’s called the Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel.
Situated on Sunset Boulevard, one of the most quintessential strips in all LA, and Highway 405, the Luxe Hotel looms tall and grand over the freeway—a hopeful beacon for first time visitors who drive their rental cars with trepidation on the undulating net of LA roads and traffic.
The Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel takes the pain and shock out from behind the wheel of contending with getting around and replaces it with easy, relaxed bliss. As soon as you pull into its private road, you feel like you’ve escaped. Stepping into the Luxe is like stepping directly into a terrycloth robe, while still having all the modern details and first-rate technology at beck and call. This is a place where you can sink into your leisure LA style, or actually enjoy a business trip for a change.

Comfortable spacious rooms make this a good value, but it's located in a completely isolated spot just west of the 405 on Sunset, so don't be fooled into thinking you're going to be staying in the heart of Beverly Hills.
