This is a wonderful winery with beautiful outdoor seating and an outrageous garden. During the summer, they offer lunch and wine pairings. You need to make reservations in advance. Dogs are permitted in the outdoor seating area as well. A must stop if you enjoy wine and beautiful surroundings.

One of the less hurried wineries in the Russian River Valley AVA, and not far from the Dry Creek Valley, Lynmar lets you slow down, breathe and really taste the chardonnay and pinot noir being swirled around in your tasting glass. Most of the wines being poured are not estate-grown at Quail Hill Vineyard, as their production is too limited (and the price per bottle is generally over $50). But what they do pour from the Anderson Valley and the Sonoma Coast, even as far afield as Santa Barbara, is well-balanced and fairly priced, if expensive. Hilarious tasting room staff, too!

Lynn and Anysia Fritz have created a beautiful winery and are making incredible wines, with the help of Bibiana Gonzalez Rave. The focus here is on Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Their Russian River wines are very good, and the Quail Hill line is consistently excellent. Their higher-end Chardonnay (La Sereinite) is well worth seeking out. They also make some smaller lot Pinot Noirs that are also great.

The facility here is beautiful, and you will have a leisurely, fantastic experience if you come here for tasting. I have had the pleasure of having several food experiences here, and the Estate Chef is very skilled.

The tasting room staff here are consistently courteous and helpful.
