Lynn Canyon provides you with an exhilarating view of the pounding rivers, forest, and mountains. It is these features that make the Pacific Northwest unique and awesome. However, I would caution crossing the bridge if you're fearful of heights. It's 160 feet (50 meters) from the bottom of the canyon.

This is a great place. Capilano suspension bridge is a bit steep with the pricing - around $35 a pop. This is a much better value. We were in Vancouver last week our host suggested this as an alternative to Capilano and we're glad we went there. The hike in the Lynn Canyon Park is great. It is just so serene and peaceful. Also check ou the twin falls while you're there. The bridge is located right at the entrance of the Lynn Canyon park. Park also has free parking.

Only a 20 minute drive from downtown Vancouver, the gorgeously built suspension bridge with a spectacular view to the entire Lynn canyon from 50 meters tall - the view of the cascading waterfalls, deep pools, and the endless forests is breathtaking. The bridge itself is located at the entrance of the Lynn Canyon park, quite fun to cross and very sturdy. It's really one of the best kept secrets in North Vancouver - both the park and the suspension bridge itself is free for access. Capilano suspension bridge of a grandeur size in the same region charges a fairly extensive price of $33 for admission. Lynn Canyon is definitely a good alternative and quite impressive as well.

Save your money! Head here rather than the (pricey) nearby Capilano Supension Bridge. Lynn Canyon's bridge offers the same thrills and it's absolutely free. Take a gorgeous hike around the park once you've conquered the bridge and take in that sweet North Vancouver air! (Can you tell I miss Vancouver?!)

If the mood doesn't strike you to spend a whopping $30/person on the touristy Capilano Suspension Bridge attraction, check out the completely free Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge in Lynn Valley. The hike is beautiful, particularly around Rice Lake. Definitely worth a trip if you have a car to get up here in.
Don't feed the bears.
