Macao is an amazing cocktail bar. The bartenders (most of whom came from Employees Only) are known to be some of the best in the city. Our bartender, Ivan, whipped up a number of amazing treats. The "Go To" was with gin, cucumber, mint and ginger beer - almost like a less sweet gin mojito. The Mata Hari was made with cognac, vermouth, bitters and rose buds. A strange but perfect balance of sweet and bitter. The atmosphere was very fun - with high ceilings covered in bamboo paneling, good music and a hip crowd (even on a Monday). Great spot.

Amazing portuguese-chinese fusion, and delicious drinks. Super packed though. There is a bar downstairs where you can wait for a table, and warm up for dinner.

The atmosphere and drinks here are fantastic. As a bar, I'd say I love it. As far as the food goes, the menu descriptions are mouth watering but nothing here is authentic.

A great guilo fantasy but disappointing if you are looking for authentic food.

Macao serves Eastern Asian/Portuguese food, so really how could you go wrong? The atmosphere can be a little nutty, but I enjoy watching the hustle and bustle of the fast paced environment. A great spot!

The drinks (inventive cocktails) and food (Asian Fusion/Portuguese) are amazing! And, if you sit downstairs, you can listen to awesome hip-hop spun on actual vinyl.
