Mahiki became famous/infamous as a watering hole for the young royals (Prince William and Prince Harry) and their entourages. It is a strange place - styled as a tiki bar, with super sweet, super strong, exotic cocktails at 20 pounds a pop.

I'm not much for clubs or bars, but I did really like Mahiki when I went with a group of friends. They have a really great selection of interesting cocktails that were really delicious and often times very fun to drink (one comes in a pirate leg which my mates rather enjoyed). It's a bit on the pricy side, as you would expect for this sort of club, but if you're looking to get elegantly smashed, Mahiki is a good place.

Somewhat odd bar/club that has been maintaining a degree of coolness over the years on the back of polynesian themed decor (read: wood cladding, floral patterns, and uncomfortable rattan seating) and tropical cocktails. Surely this can't go on much longer? Decent fun, but I don't get what the fuss is about.
