Strong tropical cocktails and great snacks. A full menu for those who are hungry. They provide delicious rice crackers for free. Get the Scratch Mai Tai to start, a Royal Hawaiian original. The staff are super friendly and fun. The colorful cocktails are strong, guys. No worries how you look. Dis Hawaii.

This place is not to be confused or associated with the Mai Tai Bar in Ala Moana Shopping Center. This Mai Tai Bar has the same name, but is totally different. This one is located inside the Royal Hawaiian sporting beautiful oceanfront views and serving up fancy (and pricey) cocktails and drinks. On a good note, they do give complimentary snacks to eat with your drink. They are known for their handcrafted mai tais, which are made in the traditional fashion and some with a unique twist. In the evening they have live music.
Stop here for a sexy mai tai and an intimate, low-key atmosphere.

You can't beat this view from the Mai Tai Bar at the Royal Hawaiian. Scenes from the season 6 opener of the show Mad Men were filmed here, so the bar is celebrating with $3 cocktails (1960s prices) til the end of April 2013. Don't miss the beautiful Waikiki sunsets from the stretch if beach right in front.
