Ma(i)sonry is part art gallery, part furniture store, part tasting room and just oozes arsty chic. They offer lots of different varietals from different local wineries that are too small to have their own tasting rooms, so you can just choose from a ton of flights or just buy a few bottles and enjoy them outside on their cozy outdoor lounge area. They stay open until 10pm, so you can come here and relax by their firepit outside with some more wine after a day of tasting!Recommended for:

A place where I make frequent stops every year if not every trip to Napa so that says a lot. If you're visiting the area, I highly recommend checking out Maisonry. Maisonary combines two of my favorite things: tasty wines and beautiful artwork. They're changing out their art pieces seasonally so each time you come in you'll probably get to view some new and interesting pieces. It's a place for you to indulge in all your five senses all at one time. They don't harvest their own wines but instead are a tasting room for a collection of many vineyards that don't house their own tasting rooms. You can come here and sample many wines from different vineyards in any season. It's a place perfect for sitting outside on a warm spring or summer day or surrounding the fire pit on a fall or winter day. They'll even bring you out blankets for their cold days. It's also a great place for photo opts and for big parties. You're not stuck at the counter of a tasting bar, but rather free to roam and leisure outside or upstairs. A major bonus is also that they're open later than most wineries so we'll always make it our last stop on our way to the restaurants down the street. Stop by and Peter or Brad will be sure to take good care of you!

Very cute and cozy. It's a small little place that you can come and sip on some wine and appreciate some art. They have a great outdoors area to wine down and relax. And they have a lot of variety of art to look at while you are there, indoors and out. One of my favorite moscatos here...the Uvaggio. Very crisp and sweet. Some of the staff were really attentive and others less so. Some seem like they see you, but yet they turn away. Don't mind them. You want to find someone who wants to help you anyway.

Ma(i)sonry is an old stone manor that has been converted into an art studio and collective tasting room for about 20 different wineries, including Blackbird Vineyards, Fisher Vineyards, and Kristine Ashe Vineyards. They also pour wines from Recuerdo (from Argentina). The tasting experience is very relaxing and special, in that you have a choice of three private tasting rooms, a lounge in either of the great rooms, or outdoor areas including individual or communal tables, around the fire pit, or even on the lawn. The staff here are knowledgeable, and can help guide you through the many tasting options.

Gayle and I stopped here during a nice day trip through the wine country. Maisonry offers wines from various vintners and within a handsome and historical building. We also enjoyed the friendly and helpful staff, some very handsome art on both floors, and a very comfortable outdoor area that was was also well done from a landscaping perspective. A small wedding ceremony here would work quite well within these very lovely grounds.
