The most amazing hotel I have ever experienced. The breakfast buffet was at least a hundred feet long and represented every type of diversity. And a personal assistant was stationed on each floor to make sure you have everything you need. You get, not a mini bar, but a BAR bar.

I've always enjoyed staying at the Shangri La. The breakfast buffet is one of the best in Manila and the Chinese restaurant also has got to be best in all of Manila.

So far this place impress me. Im sure with my 5-days stay, ill be able to make the most of this place.

The only thing I'm not fond of are the guards and their dogs at the front door. It's so intimidating right before you enter the hotel. I suppose, they do what they have to do for the safe keeping of thier guests.

This is place is really grand, I love it here! The Lobby lounge is beautiful and relaxing. Every afternoon they play live jazz and piano. The settings is so romantic, very relaxing. You can actually sit here for few hours and nod off if you wish.

There are not many choices of business hotels in Makati and Shangri-La is one of the recommended ones. Its location is quite strategic and is also near the Greenbelt Mall.

This is a lush hotel in a fancy part of Manila. The rooms are beautiful! The breakfast buffet was surprisingly impressive. The lobby is gorgeous as well.

Lots of security and gards, dogs and all at the entrance. Huge lobby with live band singing «I love you baby» http://youtu.be/mj70mXG3E1M lol.. you can smells flowers and fruits when you enter this place.. Super friendly staff. Tennis courts on top of an hotel is a must.. Just don't go in the afternoon when the sun is burning hot.

Food is delicious, accommodations are nice and roomy (hellllloooooo plush bathroom!), and the lobby is huge and marble-y. Among the country's top hotels, it's popular for wedding receptions of the upper crust. Conveniently located within walking distance of the huge Glorietta shopping mall.

Stayed here several times on business some years ago. The hotel is quite near the green zone that has several nice restaurants and just opposite the huge Makati Mall. The lobby is quite majestic. The rooms are great of course - I usually had the view towards the Mall side of the city and that is better than the view towards the other side. Breakfast has tons of variety and is very good - hard to get bored with that. We ate also at the chinese restaurant in the hotel which had good food. Security to get into the hotel can be a bit disconcerting coming from a country with little visible need for that. Service is great - as is to be expected from a hotel of this caliber. Makati Shangri-La is a step above in quality and comfort to Bangkok Shangri-La.
