Malai Kitchen in West Village is serving thai and Vietnamese dishes in a way that I have yet to see in Dallas. Owners Brandon and Yasmin Wages are taking authentic recipes from their travels to Asia and bringing it to the Dallas dining scene. They order fresh baked bread daily from a Vietnamese bakery in a close town near Dallas. Malai actually makes their own curry without using paste, like most restaurants do. The green curry and the cod are my favorite dishes there and the brunch is probably the most creative brunch in Dallas with items like the Vietnamese Burger and the Banh Mi French Toast.Recommended for:
