Private speedboat or seaplane drops guests onto a droplet of white sand anchored amidst luminescent azure waters. Multiple award-winning Hufaven Fushi is an uber-stylish Maldives trendsetter. Being massaged to the rhythm of the reef, in the world’s first underwater spa, is surreal. My highlight is swimming to breakfast from my plush overwater villa, with infinity pool, alongside friendly reef shark & rays.
Huvafen Fushi’s dazzling display of celebrity frequenters; George Clooney, Kate Moss and Tom Cruise, only enhance a flawless recipe.

Maldives is the best place if you want a relaxing time on the beach or love snorkeling / diving. The white sandy beaches with turquoise lagoons and azure blue skies makes you wonder is this is actual paradise :)

The Maldives’ vast collection of low-lying islands offers a seemingly limitless paradise of azure reef-fringed lagoons, palm-shaded beaches, and lavish private-island resorts—many built directly over the Indian Ocean.
Where to Stay: One&Only Reethi Rah, a resort on one of the largest islands in the North Male Atoll, with 130 villas, many with private pools.

One of my favorite countries, I just love being on these tropical island in the middle of the Indian Ocean. Been twice now and will go again for sure! Just go and relax in the sun and chill out...

So popular are the Maldives with superstars these days that celebs sometimes seem to outnumber civilians. The quality and choice of the hotels on offer is breathtaking, and as impossibly pretty desert island living goes, the place is hard to beat. It’s also pretty hard to keep up with all the new openings as the top hotel chains fall over themselves to come up with the next sub-aquatic ‘first’. First underwater spa (Huvafen Fushi), first underwater restaurant (Conrad Maldives), first underwater nightclub (Sub 6 at Niyama) – they all debuted right here in the Maldives. We eagerly await the first underwater Chanel boutique.

Sun, sea and sand are the three ingredients behind the Maldives’ success.
Boasting a huge range of luxury resorts, an abundance of water sports and fun-filled excursions for all ages, the Maldives can offer an exotic beach holiday like no other.
If romance, relaxation or sun-worshipping are your main aims for your holiday, you can’t go far wrong with the Maldives.

With over one thousand islands spread across the indian ocean, pristine beaches and tropical lagoons, the Maldives are the perfect destination for a honeymoon or a family vacation. Only 200 island are inhabited, which means most of your desert island fantasies can be fulfilled. Scuba diving enthusiasts will be thrilled. The only downside is the lack of activities. If you like want to simply relax on a beach and not do much, the Maldives are perfect for you.
