Malibu has some of the hottest and most picturesque ocean-front real estate in the world, and fortunately for residents and visitors, there is no shortage of places to dine to take in the spectacular views. Brunch at Geoffrey’s is a sophisticated affair, attracting LA’s glitterati, while at Duke’s you can have a fun and relaxed cocktail during happy hour. Not ...Popular withFoodiesFamiliesAdventure

romantic get away. A beach where you can eat, drink and relax! Parking can be validated by the resturant but only up to 4 hours. Additional hours, you'll have to pay for it. A bit pricy, however, worth it!Popular withLuxuryFamiliesAdventure

In Surfin' USA The Beach Boys sing about surfing at the Ventura County Line. Directly across PCH from Neptune's Net is the spot. This is a hamburger stand whose most popular items are seafood. It is a surfer hangout that is also a favorite of many non-surfers including weekend bikers - on some weekends you may see several hundred motorcycles ...Popular withFoodiesBudgetLocal

a very chill little place right off the pch. they have a parking lot, or you can usually find parking on the highway. basically, fish every which way you want except raw - grilled, in a sandwich, fried, deep fried (in a separate section of the menu from fried!). seating is all outside - covered and uncovered picnic tables and ...Popular withFoodies

A hangout for Malibu locals, separated from the sand only by the two lane Westward Beach Road, Sunset Restaurant serves good food with live entertainment on some evenings. It's a great place to have dinner followed by a stroll on the beach watching the moonlit surf crash toward shore.Popular withFoodiesLuxury

I love coming to brunch or drinks at Moonshadows. You can't beat the views since the patio is literally right over the water. There are comfortable lounge seats and booths and sometimes you can even see dolphins playing out in the ocean. The food and drinks are both always great - I haven't ever been disappointed here.

One of California's largest and most popular beaches, Zuma is known for its long, wide sands and excellent surf conditions. Wild dolphins are often seen playing close to shore, sometimes hamming it up for beach goers and eliciting their spontaneous applause.Popular withOutdoor

Very nice, upscale restaurant overlooking the ocean in Malibu. Food is fantastic and service is excellent. If you come, make sure you get here before sunset (at least for cocktails) to really experience the magic of this place. Geoffrey's after dark is only half of the experience.Popular withFoodiesOutdoorLocal

I had a great time here with some friends and their kids. The kids ran around outside until the food was served. I had a burger, which was pretty darned good. The place has an airy and relaxed atmosphere. Highlight of the whole thing was seeing Mel Brooks, one of my all time movie idols. So I'll never forget my ...Popular withFamilies

If you make it to malibu, stop by the malibu lumber yard (shopping plaza, not an actual lumber yard) for some inexpensive cuban food. The orginial (and still my favorite) lives in NYC, but this california version does not disappoint. Walk around the shops in the lumber yard to see some movie stars.Popular withFoodies

The lines here are VERY long, and do not move quickly. It is worth the wait though - their sandwiches are fantastic (try the pulled pork). They have a separate bakery counter where you pay, which is an excellent marketing strategy since passing up the desserts on display takes some strong willpower. I had a rocky road bar (amazing), but ...Popular withTrendstersLocalFoodies

The food at Zooma is fantastic. It is not located in the heart of a touristed area, so the crowd is mostly locals. The fish is extremely fresh, and the presentation is lovely. I have been a couple of times, and will go back again when I am in the area.

Ambiance, quaint, and beautiful are three words to describe this place. Located in Calamigos ranch, off Mulholland Drive and Kanan in Malibu, this hidden gem is a must see. We had a company function here and what a time we had. When you walk in you look at the property you will truly appreciate why we live in California. You ...
