    Lechuza beach

31776 Broad Beach Rd, Malibu, California
    3.5
    2 reviews

After driving up and down PCH, past the hordes crowding the beaches from Torrance up to Malibu, finding this hidden gem was a treat. Good (free) street parking, easy beach access, and no crowds! A surf able wave comes in as well. No facilities, but it's the perfect spot for a quiet getaway day in Malibu.

    Zuma Canyon

    Malibu, California

    1 review

Instead of turning left at Westward Beach Road to enter Malibu's Zuma Beach, turn right at Bonsall Drive and go to the end of the road. The Zuma Canyon trailhead begins there giving you the option of several scenic trails, one of which also takes you to a nice but not spectacular view of the ocean.

At the moment, my favorite drink we make is the Greens 3. Our Almond Milk is one of our best sellers. Try making your oatmeal with it in the morning and throwing in some blueberries for a yummy breakfast. Or you can drink it in the afternoon when you get a sweet tooth and need to cure your craving. Lastly, ...

I loved everything about this beach except the freakin' sand flies!! Granted, they aren't everywhere, only at certain spots you cross getting to the good parts of beach, like around the rocks and where there are clumps of kelp laying around. There were so many at one point I was half squealing and half crying in hopes of at least ...

This is one of Southern California's oldest and most renown dive shops. It has a lot of a great divers and instructors there and some of the BEST PADI course directors there are. This is not an opinion, these are course directors famous in the dive community including some of those that literally wrote the book on some aspects of ...

Though there is no shade whatsover during the hike here, you won't notice as you'll be busy gawking at the beautiful ocean!! The trail is on the more rugged side so I recommend wearing hiking boots and tall socks. Also, bring plenty of water and make sure to wear sunscreen!

As if we needed one more reason to head north on PCH, one of our favorite collections, Lanvin, has found a new home in Malibu Country Mart. Featuring bright cocktail dresses and oversize floral necklaces and cuffs, the label feels like it was made for Los Angeles. Creative director Alber Elbaz seems to think so, too, considering this is the ...

Nice area and decent surf most of the time. The problem is that the houses are very private and it's not that easy to get to. Also there are no amenities such as bathrooms. Other than that is't a nice stretch of SoCal coast

    1 review

During dry seasons the lagoon becomes home to coastal fauna; during wet seasons it is filled with water and birds of all types. There is a nature trail that leads you through the lagoon area - a trail that is easy to miss if you're rushing toward the surf, only a 100 yards or so distant from the lagoon.

The Ranch is a self-proclaimed "luxury bootcamp". Think the Ashram in Calabassas, including their former program director who runs everything (while only 18 months old, owner is completely hands off). Only unlike the Ashram nearby, you get to have your own room and the grounds are breathtaking. This is a great place for weight loss and nutrition education for a ...
