a very chill little place right off the pch. they have a parking lot, or you can usually find parking on the highway. basically, fish every which way you want except raw - grilled, in a sandwich, fried, deep fried (in a separate section of the menu from fried!). seating is all outside - covered and uncovered picnic tables and benches. you place your order and get a buzzer. prices aren't cheap but aren't unreasonable for the portions and quality.

This is a great place for a post-hike stop to reward yourself after hours of cardio trekking through the hills of Malibu.
The seafood is fresh and so many options to choose from. I loved that high quality seafood could be enjoyed in a casual patio atmosphere. I ordered the fried seafood combo which came with fish, calamari, shrimp, scallop and fries. My favorite piece was the fish.

Deep fried fish, BYOB Miller Lite (or whatever suits your cheap-booze fancy) and picture perfect seaside views at Malibu Seafood.
For a super light & fresh, bikini-friendly meal, try Malibu Seafood.

There is not really indoor seating - but there is a covered area outside. You order your fish inside and then you can eat outside and enjoy the view of the Pacific ocean, where your fish was caught! This is great at sunset. Very casual. Dress warmly at night, anytime but the dead of summer. That cool ocean breeze can get chilly. The french fries are great as well as the grilled fish.
