So this is where the unsold Ski Dazzle items come to die errrr get sold… It is definitely an interesting shop and it has been here forever… or something like it has been here forever. They have some good discount prices, and some not so good discount prices on gear. The selection is reasonable as well. They have all of ...Popular withAdventureFamiliesBudget

Good selection, friendly helpful staff and I love how they have their home collection upstairs with mugs sporting the giant Polo pony logo! The great thing about the Polo factory stores is that you can return your merchandise at any time for an exchange, refund or credit at any factory store! Sign up for their text alerts and email club ...

This place used to be another bar/dance joint called the dubliner I think. It wasn't that great. This joint is under the ownership of Mammoth Mountain and is a pretty nice place to go have fun here in Mammoth. I was there last night and for a Friday night in Mammoth, well this place was a rocken. They had a ...Popular withNightlifeLocalFoodies

This is one of the best Ranger Stations that I have ever been to. I just went back to Devils Postpile this last weekend and our stop at this Ranger Station was OUTSTANDING! You can learn a lot here. They have various programs that the Rangers put on showing wildlife, plants, geologic, and other interesting things that come from this ...Popular withBackpackersOutdoorAdventure

Awesome place, friendly staff, we were able to use alot of coupons to get some discounts. 25% off our rentals. Plus the rental gear is of good quality. My friend's girlfriend was able to get snowboard pants which were already on sale, an additional 10% off! Not to get the employee in trouble but we added insurance to our rental ...

This lake is a pristine lake accessible after a hike from lake mamme. We took the mammoth pass trail and reached the lake in a hour or so. It was a decent trek that definitely upped the heart rate but wasn't very strenuous. We had 6 and 7 year kids who thoroughly enjoyed the hike. The lake itself was surreal ...Popular withFamilies

My family used to spend our summer vacation time at the Shady Rest campground back in the 60's. I have fond memories of the camping spots, trees, squirrels and chipmunks. Although the place has been rearranged and added to and subtracted from over the years, the camping spots in Old Shady Rest look just like they always did. And, of ...Popular withAdventureBackpackersFamilies

We went here to meet our fly-fishing guide for the day. They are very professional, have top rate gear and super knowledgeable. We will be back to purchase gear soon since we are "hooked"...ha ha.

So I was very disappointed by this joint... It is an official Mammoth Mountain Ski Area swag dispensary. They have all kinds of jackets, hoodies, and shirts for the most part here. The staff is friendly, but not overly so. The management is somewhat prone to double speak, as they may state one thing to staff and then contradict it ...

Well I was up in Mammoth for NYE 2012 and the morning after our arrival one of my friends lets me know that he needs to get a fresh waxing and the edges sharpened on his and his girls boards before we head up the hill that day. So we head into town and MSG is open early on a ...Popular withOutdoorBackpackersAdventure

What a great specialty climbing, hiking, bouldering shop.. Consequently Mountaineering. They have it all here from crampons, to clothing, to ropes, to climbing gear, to backpacking gear, as well as downhill/cross country skiing gear. Like most of the sports shops in town, they have a number of items on clearance racks. They also have the standard always discounted items that ...Popular withOutdoorBackpackersAdventure
