There's not much going on in West Dover, despite skiing. The nearby shops are almost all dedicated to alpine spots and the restaurants are nothing amazing. It's still a cute ski town and it certainly has enough to offer to keep the tired skiers/boarders entertained.

Just off of the I-87, Saratoga Springs is a charming town with good restaurants, pricey boutiques, a handful of museums, and artsy flair. Cute town around Williams College. It takes a few hours to get here from Boston, so is not the most convenient place to vacation if you are not already in New England, but it is a nice getaway if you are in the area. Be warned - summer is pretty humid here!
