Seaport Village is a blend of San Diego laid-back culture mixed with LA's eclectic 3rd Street Promenade. Performers, tattoo artists, parrot keepers, and magicians dot the boardwalk and captivate tourists, while locals ignore them all and jog by in the beautiful sunshine. Horse-drawn carriages take you through the village if you so choose, while live jazz bands entertain visitors in ...

There is never a shortage of things to do in this little park jutting off on a finger of land from Seaport Village. There is ample grass for frolicking, picnicking, or kite-flying, and for children to play or lovers to cuddle. Had a great time! The venue was perfect - there was plenty of seating and options for semi-quiet corners to chat, the free food and drinks were enough to keep you munching all evening, and the wine tasting was a definite plus. Plus, when we wanted to take a break, we simply walked right out into Seaport Village for a ...

Wheel Fun Rentals is located right on the Embarcadero, making it a perfect area to rent a bike in Downtown San Diego. I love getting a beach cruiser and riding along the water to Sea Port Village and the Gaslamp Quarter or Little Italy. It's also nice to take the Coronado Bay Ferry, and head to Coronado on bike.

It's the nightlife quarter of San Diego - fine dining, pubs, bars, clubs, and endless shopping. They also have festivals, premieres, and parties throughout the year - for example, at Halloween, Mardi Gras, etc. It's a good place to make your homebase if you want the excitement, but keep in mind that it's easier to walk around here. If you ...

The perfect introduction to the city - or at least the surrounding waterscape! Harbor excursions will take you up North and South Islands/Bay so you can see Point Loma, Shelter Island, Harbor Island, Navy ships, and the barking seals, then on past to Coronado, the Coronado Bridge, and past the beautiful skyline of the city. My favorite company is Hornblower ...

Riding the Amtrak can be fun and is an affordable way to head up the coast. It goes fairly quickly and runs almost all day long. Take it for leisure and to avoid the hassle of driving or parking.. such as at Disneyland or other attractions it passes along the way. They serve food and drinks!

I've been to a few ball parks from Cubs, to Dbacks, and Pecto is still one of my favorite. I think its a tie between Camden yards and Petco for my favorite stadiums. I am not usually the first person to run to an aircraft carrier and tour it - that's my aircraft-obsessed boyfriend's job. But, my dad was in the Navy and landed on the USS Midway several times, so with him as my guide, I had a more enjoyable experience. For those interested, it's a fantastic - and authentic - museum. ...
