Expensive and worth it? Well you will have to judge but the rooms are high tech, spacious and very well appointed. Turndown service with towel replacement, pillow menu and great views. Nice breakfast and superb staff.

Restaurant K'shiki, located in the swank Mandarin Oriental Hotel, is one of many excellent restaurants at the hotel. The food is top notch, as is the service. The menu can best be described as continental with an Asian influence. The breakfast buffet is outstanding, with a large variety of high quality, beautifully prepared/displayed items....something for everyone, without being a trough. ...

High quality sushi spot with good atmosphere and relatively reasonable prices. I wouldn't search it out but a good option if you are in this part of Nihonbashi. Ginza quality at Nihonbashi prices. Sitting at the counter is a treat.

I think the Tokyo outlet of this Sydney restaurant is better than the original. High quality innovative modern fusion in an attractive environment with attentive service. Perfect for a business dinner or special night out. The pre fixe dinner is exceptionally good value given the quality level. The wine list is extensive and pricing isn't egregious for Japan.

Picturesque Japanese yakitori restaurant located next to Inokashira Park. This is one of Tokyo's more famous yakitori restaurants and its reputation is well deserved. Don't expect fancy. This is a great place to roll up your sleeves, down a mug of beer, and enjoy yakitori or corn on the cob. Located in a building that seems as old as Japan. ...

What a convenient place for lunch. First you pay for your meal by using the vending machine. You take your ticket and hand it to one of two employees in the whole restaurant. They immediately prep your seat, and a super heated iron plate cooks up your meat right before you. Different sauces can be added on top. A filling ...

This McDonald's I a great place to stop before or after shopping in Akihabara. It's located right next to the JR Exit. There are lots of outlets for those who want to recharge their phones or plug in to play Nintendo DS/3DS with others nearby. Be on the lookout for seasonal fares such as the Guracoro (Au Gratin/Croquette) Burger, which ...

Higashiya has an amazing selection of teas, but it's all about experiencing the preparation here. The counter was specifically made for serving tea and the bartenders have jeweler-like precision when it comes to brewing it.

If you want authentic Soba noodles, you HAVE to find this place. I mean LITERALLY find it, because unless you can read Japanesse (which I can't) you'll have to wander a bit to find the rustic old building in the middle of many newer ones. The decore is true to the age of the building, and in reality it is ...

This Italian trattoria is located on the 8th floor of the Yodabashi Camera building. The staff is super friendly. The food is great as well. I got a regular spaghetti. You can upgrade to a large size plate for free. We had also gotten a carbonara pizza with an egg in it. It sounds strange, but it was delicious.
