Nice mix of cuisines- they usually have a few traditional Fijian dishes like coconut crab curry or kokoda, a vegetarian entree, and upscale meat/lamb entrees. Serves beer and wine and really good looking desserts I have yet to try. Also good for lunch/coffee.

They accept credit cards but will sometimes try to upcharge you 3-6% of your bill to cover bank fees. This practice is illegal in Fiji (google it and bookmark the page on your phone to show staff that refuse to believe you) but that should be ending soon, as the Revenue department claims that they're doing a merchant education program ending November 2012 so that merchants can't say they didn't know. Anyway keep that in mind if you're paying with plastic.

Also, has a lovely outdoor patio (with rain tarps) that's romantic yet a little dark- sit here only if you don't need to see what you're eating (ie crab in shell you need to crack).

Restaurant is not really near anything (other than maybe Alliance Francais) but is worth the trip to Nasese.

Description

The Mango Cafe is famed for having some very unique fusion cuisine. This air conditioned establishment blends a variety of different international cuisine flavors into it's own conglomeration of amazingly effective cuisine. Tops here are their pastries which are much more than just the sweet treats you might be thinking of. The pastries at the Mango Cafe, like the rest of the menu, is always more than it seems. The cappuccino here is also very much famed, and is easily among the if not the top place in Fiji to enjoy this energizing drink. Don't hesitate to swing through the Mango Cafe and try some taste combination that will surely pleasantly surprise you.
