    Manhattan Beach Post

Lovely place to have brunch by the beach! Enticed by the bacon cheddar biscuits and they did not disappoint. Truffle honey laced fried chicken was also yummy. The scene is lively and has a beach town vibe.

Something about the SOCAL harsh blinding morning rays that drive a man to hunger.... so I googled around and found this spot while down in the area....and can vouch to how long the lines can get....they can get really long so you got to time it right and go like me @ 1pm or so (fortunately that's when I wake ...

    Tin Roof Bistro

Great food, outside patio and porch. I recommend the patio or porch as the inside can get loud (there is a tin roof suspended in the restaurant that does not help deaden the sound)

You know, the kind that just want to make a good drink and keep you smiling. Can eat + mingle there too. Dining :: Foodies won't be disappointed here as the tapas-ish plates prepared with love and intended for sharing ...

    North End Cafe

We went bike riding and my friend wanted to try this place out since he saw it on TV. The Kahlua pork crispy egg rolls were very good, and the turkey sandwich, the Tia I believe was good. We missed the breakfast time though because we sat down after 12pm. I will definitely stop by again. Service was awesome!!!

This is a great ice cream shop in the middle of downtown MB. Classic, but with a lot of extras. The location makes this popular.

    Sloopy's

This little Manhattan Beach staple is up in Northern Manhattan next to some the best and quieter beach spots. This spot has everything from smoothies to burgers to tacos. I ordered the Mahi Mahi salad with ginger dressing the first time and have ordered it everytime since because well, it is the best salad ever. Overall, Sloopy's has alot of ...

We have been going to Fonz's for some time now, and has had some inconsistency in the previous visits. But we went back again recently and thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Sandwiches are the BEST!! (reminds me of the old Annex Deli in the north end) The Good Earth sandwich on squaw bread is soooo yummy!! The bakery is good too, and the old fashioned bakery type of items. A must in downtown MB!!

    The Kettle

Classic diner right off of the beach in downtown manhattan beach. The food is okay, nothing special, but it's in a great location and is even open late night if you want to wander there when you're done hanging out.

    Hennessey's Tavern

Went to Hennessey's today on the 4th of July. Might have been a process of elimination .. The tourists took over downtown, drunks and underaged drinkers were crowding the usual choices then Hennessey's patio was available. The last times I ate there, they served the sandwiches in baskets with commercial grade potato chips. Today I was pleasantly surprised!! I ordered ...

I have been to Chicago a great deal, and one thing I miss is the deep dish pizzas. When I heard about the Union Pizza Company - I was excited. I phoned in and ordered the Medium "Village" and it was utter perfection!! Pepperoni, Sausage, ham and mushrooms. A great thick pie, with a perfect crust. They said it would ...

They changed the named of this place to BrewCo, but it's the same place. They have a pretty good selection of beers that they make, and the food is actually good. I recommend the burgers and the sweet potato fries.

    Pancho's Restaurant

    1 review

So Mexican food is prevalent in So Cal. Pancho's has very good food, but a little expensive ($16-20/entree). The Margaritas are also a little expensive, but very efficient (don't need to drink 3-4). Inside is two levels, with a great atmosphere. Great bar area too, with some game playing at all times.

OBs is a local sports pub and watering hole. Great for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Peanuts in a barrel/crack onto the floor. Full bar. LOTS of TVs, all the games on weekends. OB's is a local dive/sports bar in the north end. A great place to grab some food, have a drink, and watch some sports. Too, they have peanuts ...

An interesting location for Noah's here. This corner is right next to Starbuck's, so you can get a coffee at Starbucks and a bagel from Noah's. Then sit outside and enjoy the people walking by.

Decent place to watch a game. There are several tvs all around. That being said, the food is not very good. Also, parking is not the most convenient being that it is close to the beach.

    Houstons Restaurant

I like Houston's for a good business lunch, or a place to go and have a couple of appetizers and a drink or two. Manhattan Beach's location has a great bar area, and tables that have the booth bench facing out into the bar and restaurant. You can also get the full menu there as well.
