I stood in front of the menu for a good few minutes, NOT because I wasn't sure what flavor I wanted but because I was unsure which animal I should get. I ended up choosing a mouse with strawberry ears over a pig. I may have been the only dork prancing around in the rain with an ice cream in my hand.
Adorable small mom and pop shop located next to Balconi Coffee shop. Their poster caught my attention. The lady was so sweet and she said they can create any animal per request...maybe ill ask her for a hello kitty next time.
I got a strawberry mouse crepe filled with whipped cream and nutella (a lil over $6). The crepe was freshly made with crispy edges, just how I like them :) They also stuffed my crepe-cone with extra ice cream! My mouse-cream was so cute I wanted to cuddle it lol
I'm giving them 5 stars for the experience and their presentation.Recommended for:

Mapaya is such a cute little dessert shop hidden among the bustling street of Sawtelle. Decorated ice cream animals and crepes are a nice change of pace if you're tired of always getting boberz at Coco's or Volcano Tea House for dessert. I tried a "flat" crepe with strawberry ice cream with nutella and whatnot. It was "A-OK." It satisfied that post-meal sweet treat craving, but it didn't quite reach the level of that post-dessert, "I wish it wasn't over" feeling.. which is actually probably a good thing.
3 stars for taste, 5 stars for Instagram-worthy pictures. 5 stars for service too.Recommended for:
