While I haven't stayed in the lodge itself, I have extensively explored the ecological reserve on which this lodge is built, and have visited and spent time with the local Kichwa community that hosts and staffs this lodge. This is definitely one of the most pleasant and friendly corners of the Amazon. It's proximity to the Andes and abundant rivers create a very pleasant climate, and the forest is literally alive with more species of plant, insect, reptile and bird than you could ever count in gazillion years. Definitely worth checking out.Recommended for:
