Disappointment, amongst the many hotels that I have been to in Singapore and around the region, this one has almost no service (apart from the front desk) what so ever. The room is nothing to rave about. Room service is almost non existent (took almost an hour to come and did not solve the problem), there are no bellboys or staff to point you to your room (when we did find one, he didn't even know where our room was). You would be better off spending your money elsewhere.Recommended for:

Forget the casino and hotel. Head to the top of the Marina Bay Sands for the incredible views of Singapore from the observation deck. A great place to hop in the pool if you know someone who is staying there but friends who have stayed there say the hotel itself isn't worth it.Recommended for:

A must visit place while you are in Singapore. The hotel is connected to the casino and shopping mall. Best time to visit is at 8 pm or 11 pm (if I am not mistaken) to see the dancing and musical fountain. You can also take the bridge to go to Garden By the Bay across the highway.

Marina Bay Sands is nice, but I don't know if it's worth the trek in the scorching heat to get to the building. When I went in June 2011, there were no train routes that could take you to the near vicinity of the casino/hotel. If you decide to go, I recommend going at night and go to the top of the building, so you'll at least get a nice view of Singapore.Recommended for:

Granted, plutonomy is disgusting. A place like Marina Bay and its ultraluxury hotel and casino, the Sands, is by its nature a little repellent -- a playground for the ultra-rich. That said, the architecture of this waterfront corner of Singapore is astonishing, and a photographer's dream, with the Sands towers, the helix bridge, and the sharp glass highrises across the harbor creating a truly beautiful skyscape, particularly at sunset. It's a wonderful place for a stroll, and though the $20 pricetag to visit the Skypark atop the towers is a significant deterrent, the Marina is still completely worthy of a couple hours' exploration.Recommended for:

The hotel on the inside is not all that fantastic, but what you are really paying for is the AMAZING pool!!! It overlooks the city and it feels like you are hanging out on top of the world. The Jacuzzis face the ocean where you can see hundreds of ships and beautiful blue water. The pool side faces the gorgeous and unbelievably clean cities. Stay just for the pool!

This hotel is full of superlatives: at least one of them is its reign as Singapore's largest (at opening). The rooms are huge by any standards, the pool, well, world famous, the spa and fitness center relaxing, the restaurant selections, the bars, and the lounges are all great. The service is tops and the location very convenient with direct access to the MRT. Of course, we really appreciate the complimentary half-hourly airport shuttle service and the free WIFI internet access. We had a really fun and enjoyable time staying at the Marina Bay Sands and enjoying its facilities and amenities.

A really great Hotel. I went there because I wanted to see the Infinity Pool on the top. The Infinity Pool on the top of the hotel is very scenic. If I stayed in the Hotel, I would have been in the pool every day.
I also went into the casino and ate at a Japanese Restuarant located in the hotel....The Food was great....the casino atmosphere was great.....just a great place and a very scenic part of Singapore's new skyline!!

Lights display at the Marina Bay Sands at night is quite stunning especially while dining al fresco at restaurants nearby.
Choose "City View" rooms to get a better look of Singapore City especially at night. And these type of rooms are quite bigger than "Garden View" rooms.

I did not stay at Marina Bay Sands, but instead went there at night to the 57th floor (suggested by a friend) to overlook the entire Singapore. It was an AMAZING view by the bar area. I was lucky enough to get a small table right by the outside bar, although the drinks are quite pricey you are basically paying for the beautiful view.
