This hotel is just a mile away from Midway Airport and there's a free shuttle between the two locations. It's a bit far from downtown (about 40 minutes on public transit and more than I'd care to spend on a taxi), but there are worse fates. There's a restaurant and a Starbucks on site, so you've really got all you need right there.
The rooms are big, airy, and bright. Beautiful marble counter in the bathroom. The pool and sauna area are really nice, too. This would be a great place for someone who lives in the city to go to get away and just hang out in the hotel, if that's your thing.Recommended for:

This hotel is only located about a mile away from the airport and the hotel provides a FREE shuttle to and from the airport! Since we used public transport via the CTA into the greater Chicago area, the free shuttle to and from the airport was such a blessing! They run early in the morning until noon every 15-20 minutes or so during the weekdays, but also can be called by the front desk at the hotel or from the house phone at the airport anytime for a drop-off/pickup back to any of the Midway hotels!!! Saved us a lot of money on taxi's just to get to the train station, which is located at the airport!
This hotel was classified as 3.5 star upscale and was pretty much what I expected from the hotel. Very clean, exceptional customer service skills, which is a HUGE deal when it comes to accommodations, and has a pool and workout room with 3 treadmills! The only thing lacking was that our double room did not have a refrigerator, but we made due without one.
A little inconvenient though from the downtown area, which is about 20-30 minutes away on the train. Somehow though, for our first time in Chicago, it wasn't that big of a deal.
I would highly recommend this place if you are ever in the Chicago area for a leisurely visit!
