This is definitely the best location you could be in. I walked and walked and WALKED when I was in London. The hotel is right in the heart of Westminster, with quick walks to the London Eye, London Dungeon, Westminster Abbey, St. James Park, Buckingham Palace, Westminster and Victoria Tube stations, Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square, the Theatre District, Churchill War Rooms, and many other restaurants, cafes and shops.
I stayed here for 8 days and it was perfect! Staff was always welcoming and helpful. Was able to change bills for coins at the front desk on two occasions, rooms were nice, spacious and clean, and I had a nice view of the Jubilee Garden and London Eye from my room.
Room Service was great, used it twice. Someone mentioned that they were forgotten by Room Service but I never encountered such a problem, and their menu does state if they take longer than 40/45 minutes, your meal is free.
There was always tea, coffee and cookies (or as they call it, biscuits) in the room. There is a restaurant in the hotel, Gilray's Steak House, but I never ate there. McDonalds is next door (never ate there either!). If you need to get bottled water for your room, there's a Tesco Express right across Westminster bridge. It's about a 5 minute walk. Everything there is very cheap and they even have salads, sandwiches, and other snacks and essentials you may need.
The price was EXTREMELY reasonable (I used Priceline). There is a fitness center, pool and spa on the 5th and 6th floors. You can choose to have a daily paper delivered to your room every morning. That was very nice.
The hotel is located in the old County Hall building right along the Thames River. So when you walk out of your hotel, you literally walk around the corner and down the steps and you're walking along the embankment to the London Eye, London Aquarium or London Dungeon (take your pick). You can get on the City Cruise boats from the London Eye Pier or cross the bridge and get on at Westminster Pier.
Wifi is free only in the lobby, or you can pay 15 pounds a day in the room. I had a pocket wifi so I didn't need that, but sometimes used their lobby wifi which worked perfectly.
I can't say enough good things about this hotel. I will DEFINITELY stay here again when visiting London.

This is a classic Marriott housed on a beautiful, Edwardian Baroque style building, constructed in the early 20th Century along the River Thames on the Southbank area near Central London. The hotel is complete with remarkable facilities and stunning views of the River Thames, London Eye and Big Ben. Its 200 guestrooms along with 13 meeting rooms stand out with their blend of traditional décor and relatively modern apparatus coupled with rich marble bathroom. The elegant County Hall Restaurant serves modern European cuisine and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Rotunda Lounge offers a rich breakfast, international cuisine and beautiful river views on a casual, but pleasant ambiance. While Leader's Bar is good for cocktails and wines, the classic Library overlooking the Big Ben is ideal for Traditional English Afternoon Tea. The Health Center is equipped with a good selection of cardio and strength building apparatus, indoor swimming pool and sauna room. The hotel is of off Waterloo and Westminster Tube Stations, near the London Aquarium, across from the London Eye, Big Ben & Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, and a superb gateway to St. James Park, Buckingham Palace, Royal National Theatre, Tower Bridge, Tate Modern, Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden and Soho. It is a good value for business, leisure and romance.Recommended for:Business Travelers

This is one of the company-approved hotels during those very few times I am in London on business. It's within convenient walking distance of the Corporate HG, the London Eye, the Underground, the Westminster Bride, the West End, South Bank, and other local attractions.
It's a beautiful and hospitable, albeit expensive hotel. And it is an island of luxury and quiet amongst the hustle and bustle of London Town. The rooms are comfortable too and the service is as high end as the facility.
The English breakfast is not included in the price, although there is a McDonald's close by if you don't wish to pay full freight in the hotel's nicely appointed dining room.
