The hotel gets a LOT of business travelers, since it's right near the Brooklyn courthouses. It's a standard Marriott with great facilities and amenities. Everything about the hotel is large. There are two towers, and over 300 rooms in the entire building. The lobby is very spacious, and standard rooms are huge—probably twice the size of a typical NYC studio apartment. Even the bathroom is enormous! Though the hotel has some great facilities, including a lap-pool and sauna, it feels very sterile. The pool doesn't look very luxurious, and the hallways are too wide and empty. It feels more like a conference hotel than anything else.

This hotel is huge! Walking into this Marriott, I was easily reminded of various hotels I've stayed at for big occasions like weddings and conferences. Heading up the escalator past the small downstairs cafe, floral carpeting and large chandeliers lead you to the lounge, the bar and restaurant, and to various conference rooms and event spaces. The elegant lobby splits the two towers, North and South, which each house guest rooms. Guest rooms are surprisingly spacious, especially by New York standards, and higher level rooms offer a magnificent view of Brooklyn and the Manhattan skyline. Decorations feel homey and clean, the way you'd expect a nice hotel to feel. This hotel pretty much has everything, including a fitness center (with a healthy juice machine outside!) and pool on the upper levels. The location isn't bad either, close to many desirable areas in Brooklyn, and minutes away from Manhattan-bound subway lines.

This is a pretty standard-type hotel. The rooms are quiet, which is nice, and comfortable -- what you'd expect from the standard Marriott line. One of the primary benefits of this hotel is its very close proximity to the Brooklyn Bridge (very walkable), so access to the Bridge and the city is easy.

This Marriott location in Brooklyn has a lot of amenities and anyone saying here would enjoy their time. There isn't much they don't have - a restaurant with happy hour and drink specials, meeting rooms, a business center, fitness gym, spa, indoor swimming pool and a hot tub. There's even a shoe shiner downstairs.
You don't feel cramped in your room. There is space to stretch out and enjoy the Manhattan views. One great feature is the amount of counterspace there is in the bathroom. A girl can spread out her things and get ready in front of the sink with ease.
Another cool item they have that I haven't seen in many hotels is a touch screen in the lobby that you can use to look up theatres, performances and restaurants.
