Inspired by the natural wilderness Ngerende provides a perfect location for the hosting of weddings. Be it at the swimming pool, traditional bandas, a balloon ride or in the middle of the national park where Lions, Zebras, Giraffe will be the witnesses and you DON'T even need to send them an invite.Popular with

I took the hot air balloon ride out of Governor's Camp and it was nothing short of spectacular. The fact that the great migration was happening at the time certainly contributed to that. After soaring over the northern section of the Serengeti Plains, you touch down for a champagne brunch and a game drive back to camp. Pretty memorable.Popular with

The service, the grounds, the amenities and the location within the Masai Mara is what gives the Fairmont "campsite" unique. This is great for those who wants a good balance of rugged and luxury in the middle of the wonderful Mara.Popular with

This is a fantastic tented camp which Kempinski re-branded and opened this year. It is the luxury hotel chain's first tented camp, and it is so comfortable and posh that it takes "glamping" to the next level. But beyond the comfortable surroundings, the best feature is that meals and game drives are included with your stay, so this Kempinski property ...

This place is incredible. It is basically a smaller version of Governors' Camp which means it is a bit more intimate, but there are two other major advantages. The first is that the marsh-lands the tented camps look out over are full of animals, including "Blossom" the one tusked elephant who gallivants around in the mud. The second is that ...Popular with

This is an amazing resort. I've heard rumors that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt stay here while visiting Kenya. Hidden away on the banks of a river, overshadowed by gorgeous trees, this hotel boasts hut like cabanas, retrofitted with the highest quality amenities. Monkeys fly around on the trees over head and visitors are able to walk across bridges, climb ...

Royal Mara offers a blend of the classic tented safari camp with the amenities of a lodge facility – the result is a unique luxury tented lodge like nothing else in Africa. Only eight large riverfront tented chalets built on raised mahogany platforms, provide safety from hippos, elephants and buffalos roaming through the camp at night in search for food ...

an Oasis in grass land, nice place to stay

A great location, right outside the Talek gate, but overpriced, and not really a very nice place. You pitch your own tent, but there are no grounds to explore or relax around, it is a very small place. Further, the pit latrines are a bit disgusting, and there are constantly Maasai coming up to sell you the same little beaded ...Popular with

I just have mixed feelings about this place. On the one hand it is an amazing location, right next to the Mara river, which is full of a pod of about 50 hippos. They are right on the other side of a barrier fence, and so getting up close with them is quite impressive. However, they are basically trying to ...
