Maui Brewing Co has a fantastic brewpub located in Kahana. I love being able to order a flight of different beers to try and the staff is always knowledgable with their recommendations. During happy hour you can get discounted pints too!Recommended for:

Love the restaurant in Kahana! Good food and fun atmosphere. Have to try the beer tasters with the seasonal and local brewed beers. A local business that focuses on what is best for the environment of living on an island! Great apparel. Shad loves the coconut porter! We take all our visitors here!Recommended for:

A short walk from our condo. Great micro brews - try the coconut porter. Full lunch and dinner menu. These guys are dedicated to local sourcing of ingredients, sustainability and supporting the local economy. They donate their spend grain to local farmers for feed and compostingRecommended for:

Award-winning ales and lagers, an ice-bar that seems always to be busy, and the generous helpings on your plate when you order a burger that's top-quality good, are just some of the reasons you might want to stop by Maui Brewing Company's restuarant in Kahana's Gateway Shopping Center.

We always make sure to take our guests by MBC for a cold locally crafted beer. Get a Coconut Porter and Margherita Pizza and celebrate your holiday Maui-style. MBC offers many handcrafted brews, some of them winners at the American Beer Festival.

After a long beach day at DT Flemming, nothing hits the spot like a trip to MBC. The Maui Brewing Company beer you find in the stores is good, no doubt about it, but they really save their special beers for patrons of their restaurant in Kahana. From the lilikoi and guava flavored ale, Topo Garden, to the czech-style Pau Hana Pilsner, the menu offers something for every taste, and even has an accompanying hoppiness/bitterness units chart.
And the food. Oh, the food! Very reasonably priced and so satisfying. The beer battered onion rings are to die for, and $4 gets you a slider big enough to fully satisfy your burger craving, but small enough that you'll still feel comfortable in your swimsuit.
If I have one criticism of this place, it's that some of the staff have a bit of an attitude. Several times, I've sat at the bar, and been ignored, while the bartender talk story with a friend, and I felt like I was a huge inconvenience. Over all, though, it's a cool place, and as long as I get my beer, I'm pretty happy.

Stopped by the Tasting room on my recent visit to Maui. A decent place to check out if you are in the Lahaina area. They are known for their Coconut Porter. A flight of 5 beers is $10. My favorite was a seasonal brew with cherry and lilikoi.

If the beer alone doesn't get you excited about this place, then the ice bar should. All beverages are served ice cold just like the bar top, and will stay that way as you drink and keep refreshing its iciness with this cool feature. Drop in for a drink, two drinks or food if you prefer. It's all good.
