    Kihei Caffe

Kihei Caffe is a great place to get breakfast. The food is great and the portions are generous. It gets quite busy on the weekends so get there early.

    Gazebo Restaurant

What can be said about the Gazebo. It is just north of the Kahana Outrigger. THE place for breakfast with a view. Expect to wait in line unless you get there at the crack of dawn, but the coffee is free while you wait. If you have not had your fill of shopping there is a little kiosk there to ...

Best sunset view in all of Maui, and possibly all of Hawai'i. Food is very good, cost reasonable.

    Grandma's Coffee House

I found this little "Upcountry" cafe on a trip to Maui in 2004, and ate here again in July of 2011. If you are headed to the Tedeschi Winery just down the road, make Grandma's your stop for a lunch or an afternoon coffee and pastry treat. Bonuses: Check out the Keokea Gallery next to the cafe, and fill up ...

    Milagros Food Company

Right at the corner of Baldwin and the Hana Highway, this is the best happy hour in Pa'ia. Sit at the bar if you want to meet locals; the patio tends to draw tourists (but is a great spot for people-watching). Excellent drink specials!

    Honolua Store

Adorable little gift shop PLUS a very tasty little deli/food counter in the back. They had really good kalua pork, Spam musubi, and fried rice. Yum! You can also find all your little souvenir and gift needs here. Pick up a bag of Hershey's Kisses with Macadamia Nuts!

    Tasty Crust Restaurant

Tasty Crust has some of the cheapest prices I've seen for the portions you get. Standard diner food, with a local twist (i.e.-pancakes, hash browns, burgers, teri beef, loco moco's, etc.). Pretty good food, probably not the healthiest, but still yummy.

    Koho Grill & Bar

Great local spot in Kahului! Make sure you say hi to Shannon at the bar, she rocks!

    Hotel Hana Maui

A bit dated, but the cabins are cool and the view is glorious. Watching sunset while sitting on the deck and seeing whales breach in the distance beyond the rolling green lawn... Go for runs through the bordering farms and check out the swimming inlet around the cliff). New-age morning yoga brought a smile to our faces: "it is going ...

    NorthShore cafe

This is definetly out of the way place. It is located directly across the Haiku Cannery. From the outside it looks like a residential house, (there is another house behind, so don't block the driveway!). The parking is limited, so you may have to park at the cannery. There is limited seating, but the wait is worth it!!. The prices ...
