    Club Street

0.23 mi from Maxwell Food Centre
    8 reviews

Club Street is a pretty hill dotted with trendy bars, restaurants and galleries. The transformation of these shophouses are done pretty regularly with new competition around this area. Well, it does get pretty rowdy and loud. For somewhere quieter, you may like to check out PS Cafe at Ann Siang Hill nearby.

Given Singapore's maritime influence, it is understandable that the Thian Hock Keng temple was an important place of worship for Hokien immigrants as they gave thanks to the Goddess of the Sea. This is one of Singapore's oldest chinese temples and is a typical South Chinese architectural building. It's amazing to note that it was built without the use of ...

Smaller Hindu temple in Chinatown. Worth a quick peek if it is open and you are passing by but less impressive than some of the other temples in Singapore.

One of the more quaint strips in Singapore. Home to a number of nice bars and restaurants. Partially closed to traffic giving it quaint / more secluded feel than other parts of Chinatown.

It is a small path way linking the hectic area of Amoy Street to Ann Siang Road where you can visit many small cafes, restaurants or pubs - it's worth exploring while you are in Singapore as it provides different perspective of the city

This bar / restaurant is every bit as pleasant as The Cufflink Club next door but much better value with a decor that is markedly more Asian and service that shows greater effort. I prefer it over Cufflink but it isn't quite as polished. A good spot for a drink but I wouldn't choose it for a meal.
