We spent two days here while in the Western Serengeti. I think the options for accommodation in this part of the Serengeti are at places like this (mountain top with views) or in the migration camps very close to the Grumeti River, which were actually pretty far from here.

We really enjoyed our stay at this camp. The "tents" were very nice, the food amazing and the views from the hill top were a great way to start and end the day. Highly recommended.

The most elegant tent cabins ever! We loved bathing in the deep claw foot tub with a window overlooking the Serengeti. The beds are very comfortable and have mosquito netting. Masai warriors with spears walk with guests on the property as animals abound. The food is spectacular. The view are majestic. One can sit on the porch and look out over the plains, watch the monkeys climb the trees, and experience the most majestic sunsets.
