    Cube Serviced Apartments

    Cube Serviced Apartments

    3.5
    3 reviews

Cube Serviced Apartments is a good lodging option in Melbourne. Kind of hard to find though! You better have a cab driver who knows where he's going! Our apt. had a little kitchen and twin beds. It was perfect for our stay in the city.

    Jasper Hotel

    Jasper Hotel

    Hotel Class:
    3.5
    3 reviews
Very Good! - 80% of guests recommend

This place is a solid 4 stars; any more and I would be outraged, any less and I would raise an eyebrow. The Jasper was turned from a hostel into a hotel fairly recently and is still trying to find its feet in regards to its theme and its staffing, but the place has potential despite its identity crisis. The ...

Excellent! - 89% of guests recommend

If you’re in town for a convention, you can’t beat the Hilton at the Convention Centre, which is a grand total of ten metres’ walking distance from the centre and, while a decent walk from the city centre, the hotel’s location on Melbourne’s South Bank is a great spot for jogging, meandering from bar to bistro and for visiting the ...

    Hotel Discovery

    Hotel Discovery

I hate it when hostels call themselves hotels – this is a hostel. But it’s a lovely one, and with rooms from $24 a night and a free breakfast, free wifi, cheap pizza, massive social area and countless events, who can honestly complain? The hotel is called “budget accommodation” for a reason - if your shower leaks a little or ...

Excellent! - 90% of guests recommend

Amidst a sea of hotels in Melbourne’s central business district, the independently-owned Alto Hotel needed to stand out from the crowd. Ultimately, they chose to become the most environmentally sustainable hotel not just in Melbourne, but in the entire country. The hotel has the lowest energy and waste expenditure per guest, it’s completely run on renewable energy and even their ...

    3 reviews
Very Good! - 82% of guests recommend

At 18 months old, the brand new Travelodge is still finding its feet but is a reasonably priced four star hotel. Located just by Southern Cross station, it’s a good option for travellers coming into town by public transport as the airport “skybus” and V-Line trains arrive at the Southern Cross. It’s also fairly close to South Bank’s bars and ...

    The Sebel Albert Park

    The Sebel Albert Park

    Hotel Class:
    3.5
    2 reviews

The hotel is lovely – while the lobby is more luxurious than the rooms themselves, the rooms are still more spacious than a lot of 5 star hotels and the beds are some of the softest I’ve ever felt. The restaurant’s food is impressive (though very expensive) and the gym and amenities are top notch. The hotel is lovely, but ...

    Space Hotel

Very Good! - 81% of guests recommend

Not a bad hostel at all... very clean, helpful staff, and the attached bar had a fun hostel atmosphere. The bar staff was really cool too, and recommended more interesting places to hang out than the hostel bar :-) The biggest downsides were the shared bathrooms & no free WiFi, but the super clean room & location (pretty close to ...

    Best Western Atlantis Hotel

    Best Western Atlantis Hotel

    Hotel Class:
    3.5
    2 reviews
Very Good! - 81% of guests recommend

Ah, the Best Western, the unequivocally OK-but-not-too-expensive-but-not-too-horrible standard for hotels around the world. I’m of the age where if I’m staying in a Best Western, I’m feeling pretty ritzy, and if you arrive in that state of mind you’ll be surprised by the Best Western Atlantis. The sauna, pool and gym are a lot bigger (and in the case of ...

    Southern Cross Station

    Southern Cross Station

    5
    1 review

Today, Southern Cross is the only interstate terminal, making it Melbourne's busiest transport hub in terms of being the only transport hub in the city for regional Victoria and interstate train and bus travelers. So if you're going country or heading north, east or west by train or bus, this is your first stop.

Excellent! - 87% of guests recommend

Starting from the second we walked in the door, we felt welcomed. The hotel is located near lots of shops and restaurants. It's less than 10 minutes walk pretty much to anywhere, which is great for travelers without cars. The price, however, is around $200 a night, so it's a bite pricy for people traveling on budget. The room is ...
