Delicious Mexican food. Everything we had here was delicious. Highly recommend the queso fundido. The horchata is perfect. Reasonably priced for how good the food is. Not as cheap as your stand taqueria but the food is amazing!Recommended for:

The vampiro was so good! This place is a great go to for mexican food in the LA area. The vampiro was very cheesy and the meat was well marinated. There is a salsa bar for you to pick anything you want to top your food choice!

Okay, you might be thinking, what's so special about a taco... and especially this taco place when in LA a taco joint is a dime a dozen? Well, because this place happens to make tacos like they do in Mexico. I don't know how they do it, but their tacos have the best flavor of any taco spot I've been to in LA hands down. And then there is the quesadilla, which has some special garlic sauce that makes it out of this world. This is the taco joint you can take your foodie friends and they wont be disappointed.Recommended for:

Mexicali Taco & Co joins the ranks of successful mobile operations turned storefront. It was well-deserved due to the unique flavors that you get here. There was plenty of seating on the ginormous park bench tables. Decor was a bit bland and screamed Eat your stuff and Get outta here, but the service was friendly and helpful for a first-timer.
Vampiro Asada with Fried Egg -- I have to say, the fried egg was a definite must. It was a bit smaller than I thought for the price and a perfect meal would consist of 2 of these, but I only got 1 since I was on the run. The garlic aioli made this different from most other Mexican food joints and was utterly flavorful. I was expecting a garlic rush, but it wasn't like that. Of the selection of sauces, I enjoyed the habanero sauce most of all and was a perfect compliment to any Mexican food. I'll have to come back and try the other stuff here.
