MGM and its sister hotels have been leaders in green initiatives in Vegas. MGM Grand has put in place a number of measures to conserve energy, food, waste and water, which means that you can feel good about how you are treating the environment while you eat, drink, play and sleep.Recommended for:

Always have had a pleasant stay here. I would say it is the most kid friendly hotel in Vegas. But they also have WET republic at the pool on weekends which is supposed to be a lot of fun for those in their 20's. The lazy river is always fun too. MGM also has the grand walk which offers a lot if upscale excellent restaurant options.Recommended for:

It never fails: I always associate this hotel with the band Bon Jovi, because most of the time when I'm in Vegas, it's to see them play - and they usually play here. It's the last stop for the tram at that end of the Strip, the lion habitat is always worth a glance or stop (although it's nearly always packed), and the atmosphere is one of my favorites in Vegas: full of energy, the dark enclosed casinos to draw you in, and a fun ambience everywhere you go. Beware: this place is HUGE, and despite having a strong sense of Bon Jovi radar, I always feel like I'm trekking across the entire city to find the arena.Recommended for:

note to self: be more careful about accepting upgrades to a hotel room that is located in the building they remodeled, modern "with a view of the strip"
Nice hotel (of course), lots of fancy restaurants, KA is located here.
My boyfriend managed to get a complimentary upgrade at the place the front desk suggested. The room was definitely different from the other hotel rooms, with a small window above the bed with the view of the strip. It seemed more like a hotel room for a business man than for a couple.
Bathroom: no doors it has a wall that separates it from the bedroom, toilet and the shower room has its own frosted door. Room gets stuffy if you take a long shower. The modern part of it is that theres a tv shown in the mirror so you could watch the news/game while you're brushing your teeth.
Bedroom: clean but small with a small window to the outside worldRecommended for:

We stayed in the West Wing. The rooms were comfortable and neat. We liked the modern interior. We enjoyed the Copperfield Show in the MGM theatre but did not try the buffet and the pool. All in all we had a pleasant stay.Recommended for:

Remodeled MGM is beautiful!
I love the new modern, flower-like theme they have going on. Everything looked amazing and smelled amazing! Make sense why everyone wants to stay here now as they have a new club Hakkasan and the rates were dramatically lower than THE Hotel at Manadalay, granted it was a monday. It was packed with people still on a monday though, so you know MGM is coming back with a bang!
Loving there restroom mirrors, my friends and i all want one in our own house!
We loved how light surrounds the mirror , this helps a lot in making ourselves look good for the rest of the night!Recommended for:

The biggest hotel on the Strip with the most hotel rooms. Its big. And there are so many offerings on the food and nightlife side throughout the hotel. From budget conscious to luxury spending, you can do it all here inside the MGM. And with the new Hakasaan nightclub and restaurant here, they just keep adding more. Be prepared to walk when you enter MGM. From the check-in area to your room could take you 5-10 mins depending on where your room is located. The pools (I believe there are six not including the Wet Republic Dayclub experience) are a sight to see as well.Recommended for:

The MGM offers their guest the option of booking one of their Stay Well Rooms when making reservations. Their Stay Well Rooms provides its guests with rooms that optimizes and aides in their emotional and physical health as well as supports the promotion of better sleep. Inside these special rooms the main features is an air purification system that will reduce allergens, and toxins and create an environment of better air qualify. There is a walter filtration system in the showers that actually infuses vitamin C into the water as guest shower.
There is also advanced room lighting that assist in the regulation of melatonin in one's body. Guests also have the option to have aroma infusion throughout their room as well as dawn simulator alarm clocks that will gradually awaken the body. Wellness rooms will costs an extra $30 than the normal price of room, but I think its well worth paying the extra fee.Recommended for:

This hotel is among the worst smell I been to in the south strip, it look very nice outside. But inside it felt is old and the smell I just can't stand. Confusing finding place inside unless you been here several time.

This place is very child friendly it seemed...and couple friendly. So if you're not in the mood for either, don't stay here. Yes, the lions are cool and the Rainforest restaurant is neat - for kids.Recommended for:

I have over the years stayed at a number of LV's various Strip hotels, and happen to like the MGM Grand the best. The rooms are, as you'd expect from a name this big, plush and well-appointed, and affordable as well if you can score one of the town's endless series of hotel deals. I dig the lion enclosure in the centre of the casino floor, but my favorite thing about the MGM Grand? The huge pool complex, complete with a lazy river tube ride.Recommended for:

Somehow I get suckered into giving the MGM Grand another chance when I visit Vegas. It's the rates, which are usually such a good deal, I can't resist. And the location is convenient, with the monorail station and the bus stop nearby. But the check-in lines are always so long, and you can barely find a place to stand up in the swimming pools during summer. Plus, the nightly resort fee of $20 + tax is really a rip-off. But with newly renovated guest rooms and the minimalist-mod West Wing, I might be back.Recommended for:

If you want the Vegas mega resort experience without the frills of a theme, MGM Grand is a good option. (Wynn is too, but I can actually afford to stay at MGM.) Sometimes I kind of miss the theme kitsch but in general I think MGM has everything you could ask for, plus the service is good and I like their player's club.
