Proudly Southern dishes meant for sharing adorn the menu at this brand-new darling of Miami Beach, which won numerous Best New Restaurant accolades for 2012. With creative yet comforting dishes like strawberries and ricotta with pickled radish or sweet tea-brined Southern ribs, in this case, we're happy to follow the crowd.

    Mango's Tropical Cafe

900 Ocean Drive, Miami Beach, FL, United States

    21 reviews

The pulsating Latin heart of Miami Beach is a better bet for a night out than the over-rated and over-crowded mainstream nightclubs. Right on the beach - and the Strip - Mango's is uniquely Miami in more ways than can be counted. Male and female dancers vibrate on raised stands as Latin rhythms rock you deeper into tropical cocktails, cooled ...

    Jerry's Famous Deli

1450 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139

    4 reviews

While in Miami for the Winter Music Conference ten years ago, I stumbled about a Jerry's Famous Deli. I've frequented the Southern California locations for over twenty years, so I had to try this location. This East Coast outpost is consistent with the ones I've grown up with. It can also be quite the scene during the conference since it's ...

    Nobu Miami

1901 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139
    4.5
    16 reviews

Being mentored by a former Nobu chef, Ricky Sauri, I had the chance to work in their kitchen and taste all of the food. The sea bass with balsamic teriyaki and the Japanese wagyu gyozas with kabocha purée are among my favorites. Located in South Beach’s posh Shore Club, it also has some of the best people watching in the ...

    Forge Restaurant and Lounge

    432 W 41st St, Miami Beach, FL 33140
    4.5
    4 reviews

The building and furniture are outrageously beautiful. You feel like you are in Studio 54 in the 1970s, especially the bathroom. If you are lucky to get a tour of the wineroom, wow. And the crowd is hip and expensive. Food is good and innovative- not perfect. Dessert items are little camp - better looking than tasting.

For us regular folk gaining entrance to the exclusive Mynt Lounge is the pinnacle of becoming one of the Miami Beach in-crowd. 915 Lincoln Road 33139
    3.5
    3 reviews

I have to say, I really do enjoy eating at Meat Market, even on the days I’m not working. I dream about the Duram Ranch Buffalo Ribeye, slightly blackened. It’s simply the best meat I’ve ever tasted. Pair it with a side of beets and a bottle of Faust, and I’m in heaven.

**TWO WORDS: ROPA VIEJA** We walked far for this place. But oh so worth it. A diner-ish unassuming restaurant with an authentic feel of Cuban workers, Cuban pastries, and vintage Cuban dark wood decor. We sat at the bar. ORDERED: *ROPA VIEJA - Tender, flavorful, and tasted well with the rice and plantains. *GLASS OF SANGRIA - Delicious! Not too ...
