    Art Deco Historic District

    29 reviews

Art deco is the soul of Miami Beach, and walking through this district transports you back in time, to 1950s glam Miami. This distinct architectural style is dressed with cool pastels to ward off the sun, and its windows, shapes and motifs are the hallmarks of Miami. You can spot art deco buildings all over the city, but nowhere like ...

    Mansion

    23 reviews

I visited Mansion on a bachelorette party trip to Miami. We got in with a club promoter, THANK GOD, as the line looked atrocious! The promoter had bottle service for us, again, that was very convenient as it looked like trying to get a drink at the bar was a hassle. We had a great time here but had to ...

    Art Basel Miami Beach

    15 reviews

Absolutely amazing. This winter was my first experience with Art Basel and I cant wait to go again. I pretty much stuck to the downtown Miami events (mostly free) like Wynwood Walls, etc. I was obsessed with all of the pop-up galleries and exhibits. The graffiti stuff was definitely my favorite. Cant wait for next year!

    Bass Museum of Art

    5 reviews

You'll be surprised this place was built in the 60s because it looks like an ancient temple made of equally ancient coral. Inside you'll find an ongoing exhibition of Egyptian mummies and artifacts in one of the rarest and most unique collections in the country. Also, the Bass features well-curated contemporary artists such as Eve Sussman, who currently features a ...

    Deco Bike

    6 reviews

Deco bikes are cheap and a great way to see Miami Beach. With stations all along South Beach, Mid Beach, and North Beach, you can take bike trips to most places in the area for 4 or 5 dollars. The beach walk is a good place to start and you can take it all the way to South Point to ...

Very down to earth, which is rare in flashy Miami Beach. Inexpensive drinks, good music and an unpretentious crowd makes Purdy a great late nite destination

Whether you’re considering the open-air pool bar, the subterranean Florida Room or the lobby’s classic Art Deco-style Rose Bar, the Delano is a staple destination for a carefully crafted drink in a location that exudes Miami glamour. Some places never get old—they just get better. 1685 Collins Ave., Miami Beach, 305-672-2000; delano-hotel.com

Great bar with a huge beer selection and a mellow vibe. It's more oriented toward locals than tourists so there is a much different atmosphere than most bars further up.

    Miami Beach Cinematheque

    3 reviews

Art film house in a surprising location on Miami Beach. The Cinematheque offers a variety of independent and foreign films in a historic building that was once used as a city hall. The theatre itself is a flashback, and the quality of films presented is superior to other independent cinemas in Miami. Perfect for a low key night.

Upstairs At The Van Dyke Cafe

    4 reviews

**GOOD SUNDAY JAZZ WITH PORN STAR DRINK** No cover on Sundays. Small place with limited seating. We stood by the bar counter and enjoyed the music from afar. Jazz was *ok* by my standards (I'm from NOLA, come on), nothing spectacular. Friendly bar staff. Cocktails menu was *ok*. We ordered the creative Porn Star, a naughty citrus martini served with ...
