I love all the bridges in Chicago because they merge beauty, photo opps and function all in one. If you see people trying to take a picture and you're not in a hurry- offer to take it. It's what a local would do.

Beautiful bridge in its own right but even better as a lookout point. Surrounded by some of the most stunning architecture in Chicago.

The Michigan Avenue Bridge is an easy way to cross the Chicago River, though it's even more exciting when the bridge goes up to let the boats go by.

This bridge goes over the Chicago River along Michigan ave which connects the Magnificent Mile and South toward Millennium Park and the Museum Campuses. Stop and enjoy the great view of the city. Enjoy a summer stroll but be careful of the piercing winds during the winter.

If there is one thing I know, it's a good bridge. This one keeps people and vehicles from plummeting into the water AND affords a nice view. Five stars.

I know, it may seem like "just a bridge", but it is also one of the major streets through downtown. Although you don't often see it in operation, it is a sight to see when it is. There is also a lot of pop culture history around this bridge, and is worth visiting when in Chicago.

The bridges in this area are a sight to see. We saw them on a double decker trolley and actually got to see one opening and it's a really neat architectural sight!

Cool bridge. It is fun to watch them raise it to let boats pass through.
