    W New York

    W New York

    Class:
    18 reviews
Fair - 73% of guests recommend

I know NY is tight on space but my very expensive room was as big as a closet. It's also wasn't really around anywhere I was hanging out. It wasn't terrible; it is a W. It just isn't as awesome as many of the other W's.

The St. Regis Hotel, New York

The St. Regis Hotel, New York

    Class:
    10 reviews
Excellent! - 90% of guests recommend

Stayed at the St. Regis Hotel off 5th Ave and I have to give it up the St. Regis!!! It's not new, but it's still amazing and ultra-fab. And they are now offering prix fix lunch and dinner. Both are amazing deals for NYC. I had Risotto, Lobster Salad + dessert for $45.00 for lunch. The prix fix dinner is ...

    Le Parker Meridien

    Class:
    8 reviews
Very Good! - 81% of guests recommend

Have very, very fond memories of Le Parker Meridien from when I lived here in NYC. Whenever we wanted to splurge on a brunch, we would go to Norma's. Special occasions or not, the food was always yummy. The hotel itself is very modern and beautiful, with super high ceilings which just gives it that special touch. The service is ...

    The Benjamin

    The Benjamin

    Class:
    4 reviews
Very Good! - 84% of guests recommend

Rooms are small but very well appointed. Every space is well used. The Benjamin boasts one of the city's best concierges (we got last minute Nobu 57 reservations) and has a great Brazilian churriascara restaurant downstairs. Convenient, yet not on the crazy Times Square strip.

    InterContinental New York Barclay

    InterContinental New York Barclay

    Class:
    5 reviews
Very Good! - 80% of guests recommend

This is an older hotel, but it's a short walk to Rockefeller Center and 5th Avenue, and Central park is just beyond that. Bummer it's far from soundproof, and the lobby is nicer than the rooms (it can be slightly misleading), but not a bad find all in all if you just need something quick and convenient.

    The Kimberly Hotel

    The Kimberly Hotel

    Class:
    3 reviews
Excellent! - 88% of guests recommend

This is a great small hotel in midtown. The rooms are actually surprisingly large for NYC. The decor is sort of an old fashioned French palace-inspired style, with arm chairs in the lobby that have some faux-French ornate flair. There are 2 "towers" -- one shorter one and one taller one. Our group reserved one of the suites plus a ...

Renaissance New York Hotel Times Square

Renaissance New York Hotel Times Square

    Class:
    3 reviews
Excellent! - 86% of guests recommend

Location: perfect! Times Square at your doorstep (literally) but without the noise. Comes with a hefty price tag. Very expensive! Rooms were large for NY standards but could've been better for the price paid. If you're after luxury and can afford to pay, you should look elsewhere. But if you're after location, then this place is good. It's 2 metres ...

    Algonquin Hotel

    Class:
    4 reviews

A venerable New York hotel with decades of Big Apple anecdotes at its shoulders. This is where the New Yorker magazine was born, and where the Algonquin Round Table met for its daily repartee. Ask the staff for their stories, you'll want to sit down and listen for hours.
