Bland, overpriced Mexican food. Yes, it's inside the Ferry Building but if you're gonna charge $4-5 for a small taco that you can engulf in two bites, at least make it so it tastes better than Taco Bell. I guess there was a reason this was the only place in the Ferry Building without a line...

Locally sourced ingredients and organic whenever possible probably justifies the premium prices, but it still won't break the bank compared to neighboring restaurants. The space is lively and the service is good. The tacos satisfy, but I really love the jicama salad with avocados and pomelo – which isn't badly priced at $7. There's inside and outside seating, making for a great affordable spot to dine by the bay.

Margaritas, nachos, chips and salsa! This is a great place to meet before heading into AT&T Park for a Giants game. Great atmosphere and one of the best margaritas I've ever had. Mijita is also connected to Public House which takes you right into the ballpark. It's so convenient!

If it is a pretty day, you cannot beat sitting out on the patio at Mijita doing some people watching. I still think about the guacamole and chips. The crispy chicken tacos (flautas) and the fish tacos were both excellent, as well.

Mijita serves up mexican fare next to the ball park. It's directly connected with Public House, though has a completely different menu. It's very convenient if you would like to grab something quick.
The food is decent, but don't come here expecting anything super authentic. The design is very funky, a nice contrast of the sports bar feel of Public House.

I was in the City at the Hotel Nikko for a professional meeting. After today's session finished up, I decided to go for a long walk before heading back to the East Bay on BART. I eventually ended up at the Ferry Building to take in the view of the water and the City lights.
I wasn't all that hungry and really wasn't in the mood for anything much more than Gotts/Taylor's Refresher. Unfortunately, it was closed for a private party. Further on, Mijita looked interesting and so I ordered up a couple of decent fish tacos and a beer at the counter. The menu seemed a little short, but I liked the casual atmosphere and enjoyed the food, in addition to the fast and friendly service .
