MileNorth

166 East Superior Street, Chicago, IL 60611 (Formerly Affinia Chicago Hotel)
4.5

A modern hotel located in Streeterville, MileNorth is a good pick for those who like updated décor and proximity to lots of shopping. Though MileNorth is close to lots of shops and restaurants, the street it’s on doesn’t feel too busy. The dim lobby is easy on the eyes, but also sorta funny, since it features an abstract-light design behind ...

With my packed schedule in chicago, one of the thing I really wanted to see was the Twilight from the Hancock building. Pro tip: Avoid paying cover to enter and go to the cocktail lounge instead and use that money on booze. It's free if you go to the cocktail lounge. Tip2: The best view is on your left when ...

It was definitely not worth the 12 bucks if you're not into Art, but there was some cool pieces to look at! Luckily we were able to get in for free that day so we didn't waste a dime.

Since I live in Chicago, I only go here for specific stores because it's always so crowded. But if you're a tourist then it's worth stopping at to see the American Girl Store.

Historical building that survived the great fire, the water tower is as much an icon of the Chicago as it is an important tourist stop today, the tourist information center on the magnificent mile today. This is a beautiful stone structure that still stands tall amidst its skycraper height neighbors after all these years.

Enjoy the view that you'd get from the observation deck but do it with a cocktail. A really lovely bar offering one of the best views in the city. Yes, it is touristy but it really is special.

My sister and I took the Gold Coast/Old Town tour and had such a great time. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and friendly, and the tour was really well thought out. Stops included a Jewish deli, a chocolate shop, a specialty tea store, and, finally, a Chicago-style pizzeria. Lots of good food, lots of fun!

Went with a few friends to try their wings. Opted for Super Hot Wings and SO glad we didn't attempt XXX Wings - plenty of punch in Super Hot Wings, we got nice service, and my friends really enjoyed the beer they recommended! Btw, Poncho Wings did not help the heat because the temperature of those only made it hurt ...

This place would have been heaven to me 15 years ago! It's a great store with all the dolls and accessories a tween's heart could ever desire. You can't walk on Michigan Ave. without seeing at least five little girls toting an American Girl Place bag. If you're an avid collector, don't miss it!

The world's highest synthetic ice skating rink located at more than 1,000 feet in the air on the 94th floor - enjoy a backdrop of the entire cityscape. Great for kids, sometimes the Blackhawks even host skating classes!
