Millennium Park

201 East Randolph Street, Chicago, IL 60601-6530

Good walking area in downtown Chicago. Near art museum and architecture tours. The Bean is a convex mirror-surfaced big sculpture that is fun to use in photos.

rooms are dated but that is what you expect with a hotel from the 1800's. Halls are cool to browse and see photos of stars playing the Empire in the 50's - 70's and what years they were there. Easy walk to parks, navy pier, mueseums, etc. Our room was very small but apparently they vary greatly.

Great Location but the room is a little outdated for the Fairmont. The bed frame had tears in it. Also I thought it was a little rude for someone to look at the mini bar while we still in the room. If you see people in the room, please come back instead of asking to come in.

Located near the L tracks in the Loop, the Silversmith Hotel & Suites has a small downstairs entrance-area that doesn’t tip off the much-larger and impressive lobby found on the second floor. Walk on in, grab a lemon-flavored water from the cooler, and check out the lush ferns or the silverware display. There are also treadmills in the lobby, which ...

The restaurant "Sixteen" is a can't-miss. The food is amazing, the service is first class, and the views of Chicago from the sixteenth story are spectacular. If you are feeling adventurous, try the blind chef's tasting, you won't be disappointed.

Perfect location to everything. Minutes from Navy Pier, CTA, Millennium Park, and more. We got upgraded because it was my birthday and anniversary. Rooms were really small and not the best decor. It was cheap and we were never in the room. Lobby was really nice.

Three Words: Peninsula Tea Set. Whether staying at the hotel, do stop by for tea which should be a destination in itself. Very conveniently located near the Magnificent Mile, The Pen Chicago offers a lush refuge from the hustle outside. Rooms are beautifully appointed and service holds up to the Peninsula standards.

A treat for business travelers, elegant, functional, and super comfortable. However, it is massive and somewhat commercial. Service was dynamic and efficient. The area is good, just a few mins walk to 'Magnificent Mile' and 'Millennium Park. Do explore: visit the 'Art Institute of Chicago’; it has a great Impressionism and post-impressionism collection.

Favorite downtown Chicago hotel. If I'm in the Loop, it's the Palmer House. But up here, I love me the W. Great bar, great lounge upstairs. Nice pool. Perfect W service by staff. Excellent location. Use the concierge desk for all dinner reservations, you never know... might get a comped dessert or round of drinks! Skip the restaurant. Way better ...

The Hard Rock Hotel IS Rock N Roll. It is like Metal had a baby with Rhythm N Blues and this hotel is the result. The room was so cool with retro 60’s style furniture. I really liked the new shag carpets and the white trio of circular mirrors on the wall. The staff is so friendly, you really do ...

MileNorth is one of my favorite Chicago hotels. Walking into the lobby makes me want to order a coffee or a beer and just hang out. The decor--dark wood, antiques, almost steampunk touches--is great, and the staff is super friendly. Danny, especially, made me feel welcome. I noticed while I was at the desk that the staff knew every guest ...

Formerly Hotel Sax, The Hotel Chicago has a weird name that will probably take ages for locals to get used to. The Hotel is rumored to be a popular place to stay for traveling rockers, and the claim at least makes some sense because the House of Blues music venue is located next door. However, don’t be surprised if you ...

The Omni Hotel is definitely one of the best hotels in Chicago. The select guest program made more of a difference than I imagined when it came to perks. Breakfast could have easily been $50. Unfortunately, this property doesn't have that wonderful Kimpton feel about it. Though the public-space decor and atmosphere are warm & cozy, the staff certainly isn't (the valet staff is the only exception). Something about the room decor didn't feel right. My room was on the 8th floor. I swear, all I heard were sirens racing through the streets below. The ...
