In the Piazza Santa Croce, you'll find Misuri, a clothing and accessories store promoting the "arte del cuoio" (art of leather). Indeed, this large store occupying an area the size of two shops sells everything from belts to bags, and from what I've seen they are all made in Florence. Prices are high, though relatively economical given what you are buying. I could imagine a name brand Italian retailed selling the same item for three times as much.

Another bit of great news: The store offers a public restroom that's clean and free. This is vital info for any weary walker!

While the customer service is great, I am now awaiting to hear from Misuri regarding my purchase of a very expensive Python handbag in September 2012 that now has a broken clasp (just fell apart) and I can't close the bag property without it.
