$5 for parking and located in downtown LV , easy to find and very historical location.
The 3 level museum is full of artifacts about the past! You take the elevator to the top floor and work your way down. It starts with how the Mobsters took over and than at the last level is how it was brought back to its norm.
There were so much information all over the walls, so much detail everywhere that i understood then why people would buy memberships for the museum. I think it would take well over a whole day before you can fully understand EVERYthing !
We pretty much skimmed through this spot and partake in some photo opps and read through some pretty gruesome details of what they did when they "hacked" someone! At the end of it all there was the gift shop, pretty cool spot for some education and fun!

This is not an archival museum. It is not a place to research documents, biographies or old newspaper clippings. However the displays are an amazing reminder of the role of the mob, not only in Las Vegas but in America. Well worth an hour or so of your time.Recommended for:

Yup, Vegas finally has a serious history museum downtown. The Tropicana's Mob Attraction is entertainment, but this downtown heavyweight is all about the real story of both gangsters and the Feds who tracked 'em down. It's inside the historic courthouse building where the Kefauver hearings happened back in the day. Parking costs $3, or park in a casino lot or garage instead and just walk over to the museum. It's two blocks north of the Fremont Street Experience.Recommended for:

Since I heard this place was going to open, I've been wanting to go. It's a museum about the mob. And it's in the courtroom where the Kefauver trial actually happened years ago in Vegas. What more do you need.
Now I know, for what it is, it might seem a bit pricey, but if this stuff interests you, it'll be worth the money and your time.
Their website recommends giving yourself at least 3 hours of time to go through everything. Make the time. Give yourself extra time. Don't try to squeeze this in with a bunch of other stuff. You'd be surprised how time flies.
There are plenty of exhibits and video. Interviews and pictures. There are tons of artifacts for you to look through. There is also a gun shooting simulation room which is kinda fun if you've never shot a gun before.
